Cancelling your FP+ in the parks..

Just a quick question here people...So here's the scenario...I'am in MK and have a 12.00 noon pass booked for Buzz..But we are having lunch at CHH...Can we cancel it on my DS eye phone, and also does that free up a choice somewhere else..?...Example, try and book HM..? confused

I would advise changing the FP+ instead of cancelling. You can change your FP+ up until the time you scan your MagicBand (or ticket) to get on the ride - or until the FP+ window expires.

rolling rolling rolling rolling rolling rolling Love it!!!!!

on the actual subject I'm sure we changed our fastpasses around while we were in the parks and had no problem with it but like already suggested change rather than cancel - it takes longer to cancel and go back in!!

You never want to cancel your fastpasses. Right now, you have to cancel all three if you do cancel them. You always want to make changes. Yes you could always change your fastpass if you think you aren't going to make it from the my Disney Experience app or at a kiosk. When changing a fastpass on your phone, remember that the time may not available for the experience you are trying to change it too.

We change our FP+ times and choices all the time when we are in WDW, and it's very easy on the IPhone. In MDE, go to Manage Fastpasses in your account. From there, you have two choices: 1. Choose New FastPass+ Experiences or
2. View or Modify My Existing FastPass+ Selections. If you are going to miss your 12:00 Buzz FP+, but you'd still like to do Buzz later, choose #2 and see if a later time is available. If you want to get an entirely different experience, pick #1. You can look at #1 and see what's available without loosing your current FP+ too.

It may sound a little complicated, but it is very easy to do!

The only thing I would add is to check about the rules for using your "aye" phone internationally. I've never traveled out of the country with mine, but I know that there are some rules with regard to roaming charges, data usage, etc. that can add up to a big surprise in the form of a bill when you get home.

Disney does offer free guest wifi in the parks so you don't have to use up data over seas

Plus if you can't use your phone, pad, laptop, who knows... Lol.... they have kiosks setup in the parks to be able to change your FP as well. Sometimes that ends up being easier... sometimes not. I know a couple times last November instead of our phones we used them because we got results right away vs. our phones.

We're from Canada and I just used the free wi fi in the parks to avoid roaming charges awesome

Quick thread hijack (sorry), but if you miss your FP+ Window do you lose that fast pass even though your magic band was never scanned? I'm assuming you would but just thought I'd ask!

Nope as long as it isn't used you can change it. For example, you have a 9 am-10 am Space Mountain fastpass but you get to the park at 10:30 am. You can visit an in park kiosk or change it on your phone for times that are available.

You're welcome Spook. At that time, I would recommend just waiting for Space and use a fastpass for something else.

We have our first FP+ scheduled for 3:30 PM for Star Tours. Our ADR is at 4:30. We booked two other FP+ for after the dinner, but to be honest we just don't know if we can make the first one, but we hope we can. I don't plan to release it because,as stated before I don't want to lose them all and I have tried repeatedly to move it but the schedule is already tight, so it won't allow anymore movement. I hate to waste a FP but other options aren't there.
