Closure of railroad

Have just read that the railroad is being closed between 30 September to 20 October, we were supposed to be doing the behind the steam tour on the 18th Sad I couldn't understand why I had a refund from Disney in my account now I think I know. Would have been nice if they had emailed me! Will contact them in the next few days to see if it really has been cancelled.

Having just checked my account it is the Steam Train Tour that I have been refunded boo hiss, but is it normal for Disney to not let you know? Oh well the only good side is that we are doing MNSSHP the night before which is a late finish so no silly early start and maybe breakfast at Kona instead of lunch Smile

Sometimes it takes a couple of days for the left hand to let the right hand know what's going on with Disney. With other forum members who have experienced cancellation, they often have heard about tours being stopped or suspended through online forums before Disney was able to contact them.

Hm I agree but it appears I was refunded on 4 June! (I am really bad at checking my account) so nearly a month is a bit lame really.

That's really odd that they'd refund you with no explanation. Sorry to hear your tour was cancelled!

Disney does need to work on it's communication skills a bit for both cast and guests.
