**Completed TR for my Quicky Trip for F&G and Wishes

Hello WDWFGU Family!!!

After much debate and going back and forth, I have finally decided to add on a really quick and crazy trip down so that I can see Wishes one last time and also to hit Flower and Garden. Rates are crazy high and not much left at last minute so I went with an airbnb! It's a cute little mobile home in a "vacation park" in Celebration. I will have the entire house to myself and it's only about 15 minutes from the parks.

I am going to be driving down Friday after work which means I will be getting there probably after midnight... yuck but I will be there!

Saturday morning, my plan is to be up EARLY and headed on to Epcot. I am going to park at MK and monorail it over as I plan on ending there for Wishes. I'm gonna head to Fast Track for a quick spin, check out some of the flower displays in Future world before heading to my Soarin FastPass.

I have a pretty loose plan for Flower and Garden, since it is only me, I don't want to overdo it on food lol. I am going to stop at 6 booths ( may add in one or 2 other things depending on how I feel) Amy and her family is supposed to be there and Robyn and Sy are going to swing by!!! Not too sure when I will head to Magic Kingdom. I haven't seen Happily Ever After yet and Wishes for the last time is a MUST!!! I know I am going to look like a fool standing there by myself crying...

MK is open until 11 so I will hang out a bit before heading to the house.

I am trying to decide what to have for breakfast Sunday morning. I will either go to AK or HS for a roller coaster ride before hitting the road back home. Or maybe just go home it all depends on how exhausted I am!

Will keep you all posted and of course post on our Huotari's Disney Adventures Facebook page!

OMG.... Am I tired Tired 2 days ago I was 1.5 hours into my drive now here I am back home sitting on my couch fighting sleep so that I don't wake up at 3am waiting **Edit** I was too tired to finish this on Sunday, now it is Tuesday morning and I am still tired...

It was quite an uneventful trip. I left work at 5:30 hit play on the Disney playlist and put the truck in the wind!. I took lunch to work but Dr K ended up getting pizza for everyone so I had a sandwich while driving and didn't even stop for dinner yay I had a plan for all of my stops to break it up in case I got tired. It really didn't hit me until I was driving thru Orlando.

The Airbnb was in an "RV resort", there is also a section that has these tiny little mobile homes set up, as I was going down the road to it I was a little nervous but it was very nice. There was a guard at the gate and well lit. The employees that I did see in the very little time I was there were amazing awesome I did get a little lost and stressed when I realized the address was just for the park and not to the lot... I was about in tears because I didn't have enough signal and I just drove in circles trying to find the house. How I came across it, I will never know but so glad I did! It was perfect for what I needed and it only took me about 10 minutes or so to get to the parks.

It was after midnight when I got settled, I was getting tired in the truck but once I laid down BOOM, awake yeah I think I finally fell asleep around 1 or so hoping to sleep in a bit. Well, my internal alarm didn't let me sleep past 6. I felt like I had been hit by a bus. I got up, made coffee, showered and then poured out the coffee yuck it was not my usual so I headed on over to Epcot! I decided to park at MK since I would be ending my day there. I walked in and beat the tram that was at my row!!!! I love that!! The new security has its perks and flaws. There were several tables and of course they had the FURTHEST ones open. There is no "no bag line" and they told those of us with no bags to just "walk thru" well, the tables are pretty close together, double strollers are in the way, families with lots of kids and bags, etc... Once I literally SQUEEZED my way past a family I was in. Straight to the Monorail I went.

After boarding and the doors closing we had an announcement that they were rebooting.... grrrrr everything shut down. Air included. Of course I was in a compartment with an already fussy child... Anywho, shortly after we were on our way. Of course I had to go thru security again after arriving from the MK. Thank you NO BAG LINE clapping I walked right over to Test Track and there was no wait in the single rider line! Walked in and got right on!

I then meandered around the gardens on that side and strolled thru the butterfly less butterfly tent as I made my way to Soarin. There was only a 20 minute wait but I used my FP anyway. I was on with a bunch of first timers and it was GREAT!! I love reactions from newbies. I think it makes the rides more fun!

It was getting close to 11 and I was on a mission. I hit Joffrey's for an iced coffee, I was really jonesing at this point!! laugh I strolled thru the stores and found a bench right outside of Northern Bloom. NOW, I had made up a detailed list of items and had a budget... Guess who left it at home. That's right! Me. I got a passport and tried to remember the best I could, I think I did pretty good. I did drink more than planned rolling

I was supposed to be meeting Amy and her mom today but didn't really have a time. She reassured me several times that they are not morning people Wink I was in France when I got the call and just hung out there waiting on them. By this time I was 2 drinks in! AND waiting on the slush stand to open. I had a fabulous time with those ladies! We talked and laughed and ate our way the rest of the way around World Showcase. I was afraid it would be busy for a Saturday but it wasn't so bad and the weather was about as perfect as you could get! stars

We parted ways around 3:30 or so. I was heading to MK to meet up with Robyn and Sy. I was tired and thought about going back to the house for a nap but I had prime parking! Instead I went to take a nap in the truck! Yep, in the parking lot of MK, I was sleeping LOL. Up and headed in, there weren't many people at the check in but oh my the lines for the monorail so I wandered over to the ferry... big mistake. They only had one running and it had just left waiting I was too tired and lazy to walk back to the monorail so I just waited. And waited. And waited.

Finally made it across and waited in line again to scan my band. I found Robyn, Sy and their friends in front of Casey's where we all sat a bit before going to Monster's Inc Laugh Floor laugh and taking a ride on the people mover. Apparently, the ramp up has been out of service since February. I don't understand why this can't be fixed. All the money going into HS maybe?? Come on....

It was already nearly 8 and we had to get to the Top of the World Lounge for Wishes. I still had to stop for Wishes shirts for a friend and myself. Robyn knew which door to go in, I snagged 2 and caught back up with them before crossing the street to BLT. By the time we got seated and ordered, it was time to go out on the deck. I can't believe that was the last time I got to see Wishes. I did cry a bit and I am hoping I like the new one just as much... Back inside we had some appetizers and I was so tired, headed out around 10ish I think.

Another night of getting to sleep after midnight and guess who was up at 6am again??? This girl. I decided to run to HS this morning for a quick ride on RnR and grab some Baby Groot Sippers for Magic Mirror and myself. They are the cutest! I also went to One Man's Dream to meet BABY GROOT and Starlord. To my utter and complete disappointment, there was no Baby Groot. I almost walked out when I walked around the corner and he was not there but I met Starlord anyhow... And that was it. I was back in the truck and on the road home at 11.

I was so tired driving home that I made a couple of extra stops to nap. I will not to a trip this short ALONE again. It was just too much with all of the driving but all in all I had a blast! 81 days until golf camp!!!

I hate the drive too for less than a few days but it sometimes just feels worth it - however crowds and traffic are really tiring for sure!

Now I want to go get in my car and point it south. mickey

I did a couple of day and a half trips when I was in Atlanta and it was a 6 to 7 hr. trip. It is tiring, so I feel for you. I would have to have a pretty big reason to do it now that I'm in Raleigh and it's closer to a 10 hr. trip.
