Pop is our go to when we don't use DVC points. I just love it there and yes, drinks at the Petal bar!!!

There is 10 of us going to WDW in July. 8 of us staying at CSR business class (love the lounge) but my BIL is staying at Pop. Any good suggestions for a room at Pop?

I have stayed in both the 50s and 60s sections of Pop. Both weren't too far from the main building. 70s is close as well.

We usually pick the 70's also. No particular reason other than the first time we went that's where we ended up and it's sort of tradition. The furthest we've been from the main building is at most a 5 minute walk. We also watched fireworks from the back of building.
Once we stayed in the 60's overlooking the pool. There was never too much noise that bothered us and it was a short stroll to the Petals bar!

I changed the reservation to Caribbean Beach for a nice savings. I was going to hold off booking the first half until when I arrive next week (love being able to say that) to see if there any bounce back offers. I asked the CM to get an idea of prices (was planning on staying at All Star Movies) but nothing was available. Not much available at other resorts either so I booked Pop for the first half.

It does seem with all the different specials being ran -that the resorts are really booking up!
I checked out the Pirate Suites at CB- they look cool!
Can't wait to hear what you think of the resort
