DDP and restaurants at the World

This will be our first time using a dining plan. We have some ADRs at places we know we want to try out, but we are leaving several meals/days open because we want to be able to actually look around before we decide.

The question I have is whether the restaurants are identified as part of the plan within the park. I know the snack areas are marked and I'm hoping the same is true of the actual restaurants.
If we saw somewhere we wanted to try, it would be easy to stop in and see if (when) they can get the two of us in.
I know we can check the website, our paperwork, or probably the App. I was just curious if it was also marked on the outside of the eatery.

Thx in advance!

Most places will have a menu in front of them and it will show if they take the dining plan. They are colorful squares on basic white menus most of the time so easy to see.

Good question. I've never noticed if restaurants have any indication if they took the dining plan.

I have never seen a little square to indicate the DDP either. I have just studied the allears site so much I know which ones do and and which ones don't. The only time I am ever confused on a restaurant is in DTD, so I just ask at the podium. The people at the podium will be able to tell you whether you are in the parks or not.

Most table service restaurants take DDP. Only ones that wouldn't are Fine/Signature restaurants like Victoria and Alberts and third party like T-Rex, Rainforest, Yak & Yeti and some of the ones at DTD.

The DDP is accepted at T-Rex, Rainforest and Yak & Yeti.

The Platinum plan is accepted at V&A.

Right. I was just using them as examples. I think Rainforest at one point wasn't on the DDP. They can change from year to year.
