Hi everyone - I run a Disney site called A Pocketful of Pixie Dust where I post news updates and planning advice. I'm a big Disney fan and writing articles for my site keeps me in the Disney spirit while I wait for my next trip Smile

I have a blog I'll plug as well

The Disney World Blog

I try to update with the latest park news as well as my own articles and reviews.

I'm working on a podcast next and am excited to get that going.

I believe some of you know that I run my own Disney blog here:

My Disney Mania

In fact, I just started a contest there, with the prize being a copy of the latest edition of Fodor's "Walt Disney World With Kids" (I know, kinda an antithesis of this forum, but what the hey....) Smile

So check it out if you have the chance.

Odd that they made a guide specifically for going "With Kids," since that's generally the rule instead of the exception. Did you find there to be much info in there that isn't, say, in the Unofficial Guide?

I've only glanced through it so far, but I think most guides that includes kids includes those who are also quite young and may not have the stamina to go all day. Advice such as taking breaks in the afternoon to let them get their naps, etc. seems rather obvious, but you'd be surprise on how many parents forget that and think the kids and go on the whole day at the parks.

A shameless self-promotion here, but in case you missed it, about a couple of weeks ago, I started to "document" the adventure of my favorite Disney character, Donald Duck, in various situations. So Donald reports periodically on my blog on some of the things he gets to do, all part of what I call "Donald's Great Adventure".

So far he has had a few entries on my blog. He visited the Disney Doorway to Dreams store here at the Woodfield Mall, twice! He had also taken some pictures with a couple of my new Disney pins that I got recently, and very recently, Donald actually had dinner at Club 33 in Disneyland!

He will be posting many more of suchthis adventures regularly on the blog. And he tells me that he welcomes fan mail, even spam! {Secretly, he's trying to outdo Mickey in the number of fan mail - he's still bitter that he didn't get the Donald Duck Club show}.

I read the first few, but haven't seen the Club 33 one! Headed over now! Thanks Zapperz.

The bartender looks somewhat bemused to be holding Donald.

Great series, Zapperz. It was VERY cool to see the new Doorway to Dreams thing AND Club 33. Donald gets to have all the fun.

The Magic on One Knee | Magical Kingdoms Disney Blog

Found this one yesterday, by accident. Didn't read anything but that, but it was great. Made me cry a bit, but then I'm sappy.

That's so sweet! I always feel bad for these guys who miss half their vacation fretting about the proposal, though laugh

I mentioned about my Disney-decorated office in another thread. Well, 2 weeks ago, I moved to a new office in a different building, and so I had to redecorate my office. When I was done with that, I invited Donald to come take a look. So he spent a day with me at my new office, looking over the new decor. I think he approved.

Heading over to Disney Mania now! I've really enjoyed your "Donald" series!

Just got back from Zapperz' office! That looks like such a happy place to work, and Donald seems to give it his stamp of approval... I have that "how I feel today" magnet, too!

Mine is usually stuck on "Tired". Smile

Tell Donald I had a great tour -- many thanks Wink Looks like a great office, Zapperz. Any Disney fan would be quite comfortable there, I think.

That's such a fun blog theme. I wish I'd thought of it for my next trip report. Now I'd be a copy cat!

It wasn't my original idea either. I read a trip report once by someone who used Tigger. It was hysterical. I haven't seen anymore report in more than a year. So when I saw Donald plush on sale, I thought to myself "Hey, why not do something similar, but not just on trip report?"

So copy away! But what character would you use? You can't use Donald. He's all mine! Smile

I think I'd be "all quacked up" by the end of those trips, too!! Great posts, as usual, Zapperz! I love watching Donald's adventures.
