Disney Dream & Castaway Cay Love

For anyone that has been on the Disney Dream.....what did you love about it? What can't we miss on the ship? What about at Castaway Cay? What is a must do on the island? We sailed on the Wonder last year but it was the Southern Caribbean out of San Juan so no Castaway Cay for us. We're only doing a 3 night cruise this time around so trying to prioritize the "must do" items.

Everything biggrin

Palo is my favorite Disney Restaurant period.
I love getting a day pass at the spa.
Cocktails at Pink.
I like doing the stage shows every night.
Alex the bartender (I have seen both in the Skyline Lounge and Meridian)
Quiet Cove Pool/Coffee/Hot Tubs

Thank you! We did Palo for dinner last time and it was wonderful but I'm crossing my fingers hard for a Palo brunch this time! We waitlisted when we got on the cruise on the last one but no luck. I'm not getting my hopes up with it only being a 3-nigbt, but a girl can dream!

If you can, do a tour of the ship. I love learning the inspirations of the different sections of the ship. I learned on the Dream that Gusteau from Ratatouille was created based on Disney Chef Patrick. I met him on the Fantasy. I was star struck.

I'm in the minority as I'm not a fan of Castaway Cay. I'm not a beach person. I always do the Castaway Cay 5K. I enjoy the lunch they have on the island.

Good to know! We are not huge beach people either so we plan to go first thing in the morning, have lunch, and then get back on the ship early to enjoy the slide with less crowds, hopefully crossfingers

Absolutely this will work. The lines are much much shorter when everyone is on the island.
