Disney On Ice

So not exactly Music, Media or News..but..we just bought tickets for Disney On Ice. Since we are in full on save mode for our Disney trip in TWO MONTHS (woot woot) we were going to opt against it but when Dave's company got discounted tickets I kind had to pounce on that. We got the cheap seats (cause I'm cheap). We went to the Circus at the same arena and sat in the same area and didn't have a problem seeing because everything was on screens. I'm asking you Disney On Ice vets..do they have those at Disney On Ice? I mean I know it's entertaining for kids..obviously..but can you see well from higher seats enough to be entertained if you know..you are two?

Anyone have any experience with these shows? We are going to the Toy Story show which is great because Holden hearts Woody.

I'm surprised Jess hasn't said anything yet. Back in January we took our kids to see it, but we were about 15-20 rows up. Brooke... Our two year old loved it. As or it being better farther away or closer... Not too sure. Brooke loves hockey and we watch it high up, and she is highly entertained by it. So I say your fine.

I went 3 years ago when I won tickets at a raffle. We were in the second row, they had the big screen at the IZOD center (newark new jersey) I actually wish I was a little higher up. Since we were so close to being the same height as the performers it was hard to see what was going on behind them. From what I can imagine you will be able to see great from everywhere. I think a two year old would love it! It is really fun, and the characters do amazing things on the ice. Hope you have a great time! Big smile

I started to reply to this at work yesterday but then had to go do something so didn't get to post it....Will basically answered for me though....We were 15-20 rows up but it still wasn't really that far away. I don't think we had screens though...They use a very small space of ice so it's not like you have to watch alot of stuff spread out all over the place. Here's the pictures will took...they were taking from an Iphone so not the best quality in the dark and from far away.

Okay good! Thanks for all your input! It will be a nice milestone before our trip! I'm sure he'll just enjoy the atmosphere anyway! I can't see that picture though Jess..the link doesn't work for some crazy reason.

Oh it worked for me when I clicked on it....I wonder if Mase has the photos set to private.. Maybe he can chime in on this when he sees it. The only problem Brooklin had with it is she actually wanted to go up and see the characters like you can at Disney... But that shouldnt be a problem with Holden if your going before Disney.

Just wanted to update you guys. We went to Toy Story On Ice last night and it was awesome!!!! Holden was mesmerized from beginning to end. And even if he did get distracted I spent $20.00 on a Buzz Lightyear Light Spinner thingy (It's in his hand in the picture below). It was well worth the 20 bucks seeing as how 18 hours later he has yet to put it down. Yes, he slept with it.

All in all the show was great. Ironically, Ken and Barbie were the highlights!
