So, we're at an in-between stage right now where Disney still refers to the area as Downtown Disney and we are seeing Disney Springs items showing up like this one.
Just wondering when Disney will start referring to it as Disney Springs. Do you think they will wait until all the construction is completely done?
I was thinking the same thing not long ago. Probably when all the construction is done from what was in those first concept drawings we saw.

Most of the articles I've read talk about completion in 2016. I think they'll wait till then to give it the grand re-launch.

I have been trying to call it Disney Springs but I keep going back to DTD! It's easier to correct when typing but I can't back up talking

August 2016 here we come!
Disney has started to sprinkle the term into it's writing, but I don't think we'll see an official launch of the name until it's all complete.
I think they want to get everyone used to it being Disney Springs but are waiting until 2016 for it to completely launch.
It will always be Hyperion Wharf to me. 
Actually we should just call it the mall, like we do at home when we go shopping. There's even a Disney Store!

Looks like we got our answer today... It's officially Disney Springs now!
A friend of mine was down there and saw a crowd of people so they walked over there. It was the dedication ceremony!

All the road signs and the map were updated in September then it was officially renamed the other day.
