Disney T-Shirts

I always think about buying some when I'm there but I never do. Anyone a big t-shirt buyer? What kind do/would you buy?

Hi Brad!

My friend Dave buys hats; I buy t-shirts. I have two t-shirts I bought directly at WDW. One is a tye-dye shirt I bought at Mouse Gear (Epcot Future World) for $US24.99 in December, 2003 on the way to the Swolphin for the MegaMouse Meet. On the front the seven dwarfs (dwarves?) are all grouchy under the words, "Before Walt Disney World" in Disney script. On the back, under the words "After Walt Disney World" in the same script, they're celebrating.

The other is a blue shirt with a head shot of Mickey Mouse surrounded by the flags of the World Showcase countries. This was actually a discontinued style that I got at Gateway Gifts (just beyond the Epcot entrance) for $US11.99 in December, 2007. The price was a bargain by Disney standards.

I usually get a t-shirt each trip. I like the ringer types - they seem to fit me better than others. Usually just classic Mickey on the front. I'm boring silly

I buy t-shirts all the time & polo's & sweatshirts & shorts & hats. Got to get at least one of each every time. I bought everthing they had left in my size in HS at the Back Lot Tour store that had anything to do with Binford Tools. Glad I did, because that was the last time they had anything with the Binford logo. I loved that show!

I'm not a big t-shirt person because I wouldn't wear them outside of the parks. I did buy a big cozy sweatshirt & I love it..I wear it all the time!

I'm especially fond of my Goofy shirt that unfortunately is starting to fade.

I also have a villains shirt from years ago I love, but it's black, so hard to wear during the summer.

I also have three sweatshirts I wear all the time. Love my Disney clothes!

We tend toward other "wear" since I'm not a big t-shirt wearer - hats, purses...this Christmas, I got an uber-adorable patchwork plaid scarf. One of the fabrics - white flannel - has little red Mickey silhouettes all over it. Too cute! We used to get tshirts every visit in the old days. I always opted for the classics, like Jeff.

I love hoodies and the heavier shirts, which is odd because you only get about 2 months that you need them here.

A little more on-topic, I picked up a nice Santa Mickey sweatshirt for the collection when we were there in December.

Oh yes. Washed them the day we got them and threw them on. Just in time for the big arctic chill! (Well, by southern standards).

Lizzy - Joe is ready to send me back to work. If we get one more package delivery I may find myself banned from the internet and my credit card confiscated laugh

Because I'm not really a t-shirt kind of girl Smile I wear them sometimes..especially on vacation but most of the time I dress up for work so I don't really wear them.

Poor Jeff - I know what you mean! It's hard to resist those sales, especially when you're stuck at home. Maybe you should have talked Joe into a FL recuperation trip - probably would've saved you $$$ in the long run silly

That's right. Every dollar spent at WDW saves a dollar fifty on credit cards bills at home. It's science!
