If you were going to stay at a Disney Value Resort, where would you stay and why?

We're eyeing Art of Animation, but it doesn't really fit us. Otherwise we're 100% POP. All-Stars are fine, but we've always had better experiences at Pop Century.

Pop Century is my hands down choice.

We stayed at Allstars music and it was great but I think I would try Pop cause I hear the quick serve there is fabulous and I like to try different places to see which fits us the best.

I loved Pop!! If we go back with a group we would def. stay at Art of Animation though... if its just me and the hubby, the Pop it is... but I think we're going for a Moderate or Deluxe next time!

What makes POP stand out from the ALL STAR Resorts?

the only value resort i have stayed is the all-star sports and music and they were great, if i were to try another value resort it would be AOA.

If we stayed at a value resort in would be All Star Music or AoA because they have family suites. To me if we are saving money staying at a value we can spend the extra to have a private room from our kids wink and enjoy two bathrooms also. awesome

I haven't stayed at any of the other value resorts except for POP, but from what I have heard here is what makes it stand out...

*its newer and more upgraded then the other value resorts
*the buses that come to POP ONLY go to Pop.. so you have a straight shot to wherever you are going and less time waiting for a bus to get you where you're going or back to the resort

That all I really know that sets it apart, but we LOVED Pop!

Pop Century is my first choice, more central location, more variety at the food court, and better transportation then the All Stars IMO. The All Stars are fine, and actually even a little bit cheaper then Pop, but unless I'm staying at Sports, where I could care less about the theming, the buses can be an issue.

I have stayed at All Star Music, All Star Sports, POP, and Coronado Springs. POP has been my fav. I'm a nostalgia geek, plus the dedicated busses make it a top choice. We are doing AoA this year because it looks cool and it's the Newest.

We are staying in POP this December. My first thought was to stay at AoA but we were only getting a room and not a family suit. The problem I see is that the only buildings that have standard rooms are the outer most buildings. Therefore we chose to stay at POP.

Stayed at POP a few years ago and LOVED it...am considering staying at All Stars this September just to try out something new. Love staying at new resorts, just to compare to see what it's like everywhere.

Andy and I LOVED Pop! It's the only resort I have ever stayed at and we would for sure do it again. The bus system was great, we had no issues the whole trip. The food court was really good, we actually enjoyed it a lot and went there often for drinks and snacks. We loved the theme of the place, took an afternoon just to walk around and see everything, taking fun pictures. The room was simple but that is so a non issue for us.

I love what I am seeing about Art of Animation but I still think we would go back to Pop if we don't do a Moderate next trip.

I like the Pop Century myself. It's a great place to bring the kids. They really enjoyed the wide selection of food at the food court (my son likes food,.. go figure). I'm hoping to check out the AoA come January, when my wife and I go with out the children, for our cruise.

We've only stayed at AllStar Sports, but we've stayed there twice. Loved it. It's fun, friendly and has one of the better food courts we've been to. The buses can get a bit full on the way back from the parks or DTD, but there does seem to be more of them so it kind of evens out.

Does Pop have mini fridge standard in all rooms now? Or is it still on a rental basis?

I gave the resort a call for you and they said that there is a fridge standard in all of the rooms.
