I went shopping on Black Friday - stopped by the supermarket late in the afternoon to pick up some groceries, then ran by the warehouse store to buy some sheets. I didn't go anywhere near the holiday sale madness. Recreational shopping is not my thing.

I have to admit, I am one of those crazy people who love to shop Black Friday. I have gone out on Black Friday for years and so far never ran into any problems doing it. I do not however, like to grocery shop. In fact, I can honestly say I hate it and will avoid it when I can.

The crowds get thick for holiday shopping I would say about mid November. Right after Halloween the stores put out the Christmas stuff. Plus some of the stores open for 24 hour shopping in our community around that time.
