I do not want to wait for hours. We've got FastPass+ for Anna and Elsa this September, and I am really hoping the FP+ line moves relatively quickly. If you can wait that long, I will be sure to let you know how it goes then.

Not going until next May so that's good for me Smile

I'm going to try to get a FP. If I can't get one, we'll skip the meet & greet. There's no way I'm standing in line for hours to meet a princess. 10 minutes is about my max standby wait for a character. If it's going to be longer than that, I'll just snap a quick picture of the character in between other groups. The only exception is at the parties because my goal then is to do things that I can't do on a regular admission ticket--like meet rare characters.

Thanks for asking this! I was wondering the same thing. We have and 11:40am FP+ in September, but I was getting a little concerned about how long even the FP+ line would be with the posted wait times topping 5 hours.

I would never stand in a line that long for anything, but certainly not characters.

And I didn't book FP+ for them this trip. I'd rather do rides than meet Anna and Elsa.

You are generally waiting 10 minutes or less with a fastpass just like at the attractions. The lovely ladies from Frozen have had a constant 90 minute wait all day. They have spiked up to 110-120 minutes but mostly 90 minute wait. A lot of folks are saying its because of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train but I know it's not that completely. It's a mix of Seven Dwarfs, Frozen Summer thing at DHS and that they are now meeting separately inside the hall. They no longer have a giant crowd going to them first thing in the morning. Yes they still a have a rather large crowd but not nearly as big as it was.

Or it could be a certain park down the road is getting most of the attention with Diagon Alley, if you know what I mean.

For me, I usually do all rides that interest me in the morning and parts of the early afternoon if need be so that I can do characters meet and greets later in the day or towards the end if necessary. I have my own limits for waits regardless. Kinda funny. For rides, my limit is no more than 45 minutes but for characters, it's a bit different. I think the longest I've ever waited for a character was about 55 minutes to an hour during the Spring Break period for Ariel in her old grotto before the Under the Sea ride came out. I never used a FP or FP+ for a character meet and greet but again, that's probably because of my planning as I stated earlier. If there are no rides I am interested in doing, that gives more time to meet and greet characters so a FP may not entirely be necessary for me.
