DVC Points Rental - Beach Club/Boardwalk Villas

So after two hours of researching tonight, the good and bad of renting DVC points through one of several available websites out there, I think this might be something my wife and I do for our annual F&W festival trip later this fall (late Oct. - Early Nov.).. I'd really like to stay either at Beach Club Villas or Boardwalk Villas since they are in walking (or boating) distance of Epcot's World showcase. The price for 5 nights in a studio at either location is very reasonable compared to what you would pay through Disney for a hotel room (Rack rate). We're about 7 months out now.. Should I seriously look into reserving a place now or give it a few more months. I don't know that I have exact dates locked down just yet.. confused How soon do these two locations sell out for this time of year? Also, can FP's be booked 60 days out if staying on property using DVC points that you rented?

Any of y'all with experience booking at WDW using DVC points that you rented, please give me your thoughts on the whole process.. Was it worth it? Was it simple to do? Did you ever need to call the seller for assistance in any matter, and if so, how was that? Are the Villas superior to the standard hotel rooms? Are Studios adequate space for two? Also, does Disney transportation pick you up (free of charge)from the airport using DVC points to book your accommodations? Thanks for any and all help you might provide..

I'm really getting excited at the thought of staying at the Boardwalk or Beach Club during the Food & Wine Festival.. clapping awesome yay

yeah

I just checked studio availability at BWV and BCV during F&W, and unfortunately there is none. At this late date, your best bet would be Saratoga Springs, if you want to rent points for a studio.

If you are going to do that every year, consider buying points. You'll break even in about 10 years and you'll always have your room for F&W. But you would still need to know your dates 10 or 11 months out.

F&W season is crazy to try and get a DVC room for anywhere, especially if you want a studio and even more so if you want to be in an Epcot resort. I was researching availability last week for just about any resort on a weekend during Food & Wine, but studios were gone just about everywhere. 11 months out is a MUST for that one.
