I think the Jamminators and Mo Rockin are rumored to be on the cut list. The only way to stop such things is to complain by writing, emailing and calling. And even that is not likely to work. The movement to save the Adventurers Club was huge and it failed.

All I can say is never get attached to anything at Disney because nothing is permanent. I think to save money they would put vinyl siding on the castle.

Must admit I've filmed then twice on past vacations ( I remember the piper looked like Stevan Segal ) I even bought a CD of them, but like The Colonel said, don't get too attached..I can't see a campaign doing any good..As long as they don't do away with Voices Of Liberty...

So much for my afternoon plans during F&W in October..... have to admit that their shows have been a bit limited the last 3-4 years. Seldom have I seen Jamie and Mark on the stage the same day, and Mark is no longer able to sing many of the songs where he was the lead in the past. When Jamie is gone, not the same without bagpipes, but Randy can play some guitar! I will miss MoRockin as well, though they are not the same either, since Ali went back to Morocco.

Record profits, but need to reduce entertainment costs? My guess is that some type of CS will go into the Off Kilter stage area. There really is little room for MoRockin since they put in Spice Road Table, so eliminating the bottleneck.

They want you to pay extra for decent entertainment "after hours".

I have a DVC add-on resale contract in front of me at the moment, and I'm so soured by these rumors that I can't bring myself to sign it.

The Fife and Drum Corps- really? Might as well end the Flag Retreat at MK as well.

British Invasion(Beatles cover band) was replaced 3 years ago by the British Revolution. They cover The Stones, The Who, The Beatles, and other British bands:

When I read this I muttered a rude word that refers to round ball like objects. The only positive thing for me is that At least we got to see all of these in our June trip but only the other day we were talking about Off Kilter and saying how great it will be to see them again. Why refresh some thing that people like? Oh for goodness sake humph.

I still haven't got over PUSH now this gaah gaah

My son has all their CDs (Off Kilter), so this is a bummer. Does anyone know if they are a group outside of the bubble? Wondering if they will record/perform so son can get more music. I will buy up everything he doesn't have already this Sept.
mad

I think OK performs in the Orlando area mostly. But this will probably change that. BTW, the live CD is the best IMO.

I had a bad feeling when I saw what Disney did to them around Christmas. Jamie was openly displeased about it. He couldn't hide his dissatisfaction on stage.

In DL the annual pass holder base has some clout. Apparently none in Orlando. Disney management could care less what the loyal customer base wants.

If you love Off Kilter, go see the Tartan Terrors. They're like Off Kilter on steroids. I kid you not. Oh, and they're Canadian, too, and tour all over North America. I didn't see Off Kilter until after I'd seen the Tartan Terrors and frankly, they suffered by comparison.

As for the other soon-to-be-extinct shows, I've seen and enjoyed them all, but I wouldn't mind seeing something new. The Celtic and Berber groups sound interesting, and I'm really looking forward to the lumberjack show. So, the impending entertainment changes don't really bother me.

Interesting points of view here..My Scottish take on this..The first time I saw Off Kilter I thought, here we go, it's " Runrig " with strange accents..( for my friends over yonder just google it ) They had a massive following over here before lead singer Donnie packed it in and went into politics ( eh! eek ) Anyway, I really enjoyed their shows and their version of " Danny Boy " was awesome...But I'll look forward to the new entertainment when it comes and give my opinion then..So all the best to Off Kilter and I'am sure they will have a great many years ahead of them...

I agree! I'm looking forward to something new. I liked these groups but it gets stale for me once I've seen them a bunch of times. I do really like British Revolution though so that one's a bit sad. But I know my super Irish aunt and uncle will lovveee the celtic group.. I'll give them a shot waiting

Epcot needed changes but I think they missed the mark in terms of what needed to be replaced. I never saw Mo'rockin, British Invasion or Spirit of America but I'm sure they have their loyal fans. By the looks of it, I can remove Off Kilter from my bucket list because I'll never get to see them up close in person and I was into their music. All I have now is the mp3s and already recorded videos on YouTube sad I did see World Showcase Players once but it never stood out to me. It was a nice experience to watch regardless.

I think there are a lot of knee jerk reactions and people are unfairly bashing the replacement shows and their concepts. Not so much here but there is wildfire on other forums. It's hard because human nature always reacts very strongly to first impressions on just about anything but remember first impressions are not the end all be all.
