First Stop Downtown Disney

After our flight gets in next week, we'll be headed to DTD for some Earl and a little shopping. So I ask, what is the HOT * MUST HAVE Disney branded stuff to pick up?

In 2010 when I was there is was ALL about the Dooney's, honestly I think I've had Dooney overload. I mean honestly, I can only carry one purse at a time.

It's Princess 1/2 weekend, so I'm sure that the Tutus will be flying off the shelves for women of all ages.

What's are chic trendy must have Disney accessories right now? I love the Kidada Charms, but I'm not sure to what extent they're at the parks.

Oh Lord, Kristen K, you wicked, wicked thing . . . Please don't let my significant other know anything about the next big Disney Must Have. Last year we had To Buy A Suitcase so all the swag could make it home with us. Oh, and we SHIPPED some, too.

Evil evil evil. laugh

You might have to come home with another Dooney!

Not Disney branded - but Ghirardelli is ALWAYS a stop for us!

So THAT's where grownup women get tutus? I always wondered. Actually, I want to transition to the running skirts by this summer. I hear they're wonderful.

I would like to have just one of those D&Bs. Every girl should, I think Smile

Ok. I'll say it. Am I the only woman who really doesn't like those Dooney and Burke bags?

**Runs and hides**

I am not knocking those of you who have them. I wouldn't make fun of you or anything because I've been known to sport some really weird things on occasion. I'm just saying they weren't for me. I was hoping I'd like the new Tink ones but I'm not really a fan of those either.

I'd like to hear the trends too..I haven't been in so long I am sort of out of the loop.

Bella, I am with you on this one. Oh how I want to like them, but I just do not. I do have one small canvas one but even it does not do much for me.

Took a vote and Dooney isn't high on this household's list either. Good thing. wink

So am all with you here, Bella!

No need to hide, I actually prefer the Harvey Bags that Disney had for awhile. I have a Classic Mickey Harvey with matching make up bag, and I have the Steamboat Willie one that they made. I bought my first Harvey at Disney, then I bought three more... and more. I'd love another... or a dozen.

I have a few Dooney's but they're not making one in a size/shape that I'm totally in love with. Many of the patterns they've been coming out with have been a little garish for me. I do like the Tinker Bell one, but won't end up buying it because of the size issue. If I'm spending $250 on a purse, I'd better well be in love with it.

I've been carrying my DCL Dooney since last summer, but I'm ready for a change. I would love another Disney bag, hopefully they'll team up with Harvey again soon.

I don't dislike them, but they're way out of my budget.

I am another non lover of D and B. Actually I am not a purse kind of gal. I like to travel light and a hand bag just gets in my way and besides I am most likely to forget it somewhere. A must have? hmmmmm how about some jewelery. I saw some really nice watches that caught my eye and they do have some beautiful necklaces with tinkerbell on them.

These are the Minnie Mouse Harvey's that are at TrenD right now. I am in LOVE with the one in the second picture with the ruffles. However I didn't bring that much spending money.

No. You are not the only one. But then, I usually don't carry a purse at all. I carry a backpack. Girly stuff is SO not my style.

I like those Dooney and Burke purses as well but they are so expensive and I can't bring myself to pay that much for one....but I do like them....I got a purse when we were there in November that I really like....Maybe I'll get another one next year if i find a different one that I like that is within my price range. I tried to find the one that I have online but couldn't. It's like a multi color plaid with mickey on it and it's cloth

Jess I think I know the one that you're talking about, it's a patchwork with a pink madras plaid? I bought a bag with that in 2009, but my daughter has stolen it from me. I think that they have also done some clothes with that fabric, it's fun and summery!

Yep I think you are right....Alot of people think it's a 31 purse when they first see it until they realize that it has mickey on it

The Tinkerbell 1/2 Marathon Dooney Bags sold out in about 2 minutes. You blinked and they were gone. They increased the number for the next race (I was at that one) and the design for the Princess 1/2 sold out in 10 minutes. LoL... I think they need to increase the production numbers again!

The Lola (the one with ruffles) is the most expensive at $318. I didn't check the other prices exceot to shake my head in dismay that of course the one I like was the most expensive. You can also buy them on the Harvey's website, you can also see some of the other Disney Couture designs there.
