GF Tea Room Question

I am wanting to do something special with my Mother-in-law while at Disney in September (It's her first visit) and since we are the only two girls I thought about the Tea Room at the GF. She loves her afternoon tea and I thought this would be really nice. I can't find any info on what they serve or the times. Do they still do an afternoon tea? Any info would be great!!
Thanks!

They do still do them, and I think it's a lovely idea. I haven't done this myself yet, but it is totally on my Disney Bucket List

Here's a recent review over on DFB

According to All Ears they are open from 2pm-4:30pm daily

I want my youngest (now 2) to be just a little bit older so that we can all be girly and enjoy this.

Do men go and enjoy this? Is it usually just girls?

There were a few men there but it was predominantly girls. If a man enjoys afternoon tea though, there's no reason why they shouldn't enjoy it. They have a 'gentleman's platter' on the menu. I took my DDs aged 9 and 5 and they loved it. They had their drinks served in the same china teapots as i did. In fact i recently asked them what restaurant they would like to go back to next year and they said the tea room! And we did CRT, Akershus, WCC last time laugh

My husband and son would happily go for the experience, I really think it depends on he guy. I have very artsy history buffs that don't mind more formal type things.

The adult "manly" option on the menu is:

"Prince Edward's Tea - A delicious array of duck and cherry terrine, chicken and pork roulade, country pate en croute, and , and English Blue Stilton, the "King" of English cheeses. Served with marinated fresh berries, and Cumberland sauce. We then offer our delicious fresh-baked scones served with rich Devonshire cream. Your choice of our tea with a glass of our Fonseca Bin 27 Character Port. $24.50 per guest. Cockburn 20 yr Tawny Port $2.00."

Here's the kids tea description:

"Mrs. Potts Tea - For the young tea lover in your party, we offer a variety of tea sandwiches, tuna salad, ham and cheese, peanut butter and jelly on white bread. We serve our magical dark tea (chocolate milk), followed by a choice of two pastries. $12.00 per guest"

I think my Husband would go because he would want to see his girls in their tea party element. On the other hand, I do not know that he would want to go because he would be embarrassed if he was the only man in there. BUT, I might be able to show him the menu and he might lean toward going. Thanks for sharing!
