Last night I went to the Magic Kingdom and watched the Main Street Electrical parade then visited Tinkerbell. One of my friends was hanging out in the Pleasure Island section of the parade and when he spotted me, he posed for me. He made sure I got a decent picture. I unfortunately didn't use my flash so it came out a little bad.

Here are the pictures from Tinkerbell. She was amused with my sweatshirt and the buttons on it. She pressed the buttons on the front to see if they worked then I showed her the button that does work. She tried pressing it then she ended up slamming her hand on it to get it to work. Then we ended up laser blasting her character attendant together then she tried to color me green. She tried hiding behind the crayon and I said Terrance would easily find her. Then her character attendant hid, but not very well. It was a very good night to meet Tink.

You're welcome. It was one of the best interactions I've had. It still doesn't top the one time I met Anna and Elsa with my pull apart Olaf.

My best interaction ever was with Marie on Main Street. She was so excited to see me and kept hugging me and trying to steal me. The cast member eventually had to say 'you can't keep her Marie!'

Other good interactions have been with Belle (who asked if DH was my Beast and told me my outfit was beautiful and perfect for adventures) and Mulan (who was lovely and asked if my pins were medals of honour). Those meets were both at World Showcase. The only less good meet I have had was with Ariel in her grotto. I just felt that she was very demanding with the questions and made me feel a bit silly for visiting a princess as an adult. Other princesses have all been great though!

I love this thread! So many great stories. My best interaction was with Jack during MNSSHP last year. I was dressed as Minnie and had a red polka dot dress on. He asked me if the spots indicated that I was contagious. He was disappointed when I told him they were not.

I went to visit Chip and Dale, mainly chip, at Epcot. I had brought a chocolate chip cookie for Chip when I went to meet them. Well they were sniffing and trying to look through bags for treats along with causing other mischief. I was the next one in line and waiting for them to finish with the family ahead of me, I didn't realize that they finished so I was looking at my phone when out of nowhere Chip came running over, I mean he came at me full speed, and attacked me. Like he could of knocked me over by doing that. I was in shock and I was like hi chip nice to see you. He was very excited that I brought him a cookie. Which then him and Dale fought over the cookie, which led to me saying, boys you can share it. It was a great time.

I hope i'm not the only one who feels this way... But I get SUPER nervous when I'm waiting in line to meet a character... I'm not exactly sure why... I love doing it and I love the photo's... I've never met one of the princesses so I assume that being able to talk to a character would be a bit more comfortable... But sometimes it's so hard to tell what the character's who have the heads on are telling you to do (mickey, minnie, donald, daisy, goofy)... I get so nervous!! haha like a little kid! But I guess that's the point, right? It's like meeting a celebrity!

On my last trip, Mickey pointed to his cheek and made a kissing noise, so I kissed his cheek and then the woman who was taking the photo took a video instead and I felt like I was kissing the mouse for a good 60 seconds before the photo was snapped! I'm just saying... Sometimes, it can get awkward... I was wondering what the person in the costume must have been thinking.... Should I have held the pose that long? haha.. I dunno.

This! I totally still get nervous. I am better with the characters now but with the princesses who aren't hid behind a costume I am red faced in all the pictures.

One of my favorite experiences is when I was younger, like 10 or 12 and there was like no one in the park and Belle was just walking around in this area with her CM and no one was there in line for he or anything. She was in her blue peasant outfit with a book. So I sat and talked to her about reading and we took some pictures it was awesome and it was probably a full 15 minutes of us just chatting about our love of books and about the princesses and the beast.

In 2011 it was an all adult trip and it was out last day and I really wanted to meat Tinkerbell so we were the first in line that morning and boy you should have seen some of the looks that we got from parents with kids! We were getting the stink eye major. Its a little ridiculous really the world is a place where any body can still be a kid. Walt taught us that. Tinkerbell was super awesome and nice. And Vidia was there too, but she asked me something about my mom and I have no idea what she said and I panicked and just shook my head yes, and I still have no idea what she asked me. lol

When we went in 2013 I wanted to get all the princesses' autographs for my fiances' niece. So we waited in line for all the princesses and we met Rapunzel, Aurora, Cinderella, in town square. Rapunzel (my favorite) was FABULOUS!!! She asked me if my fiance (boyfriend at the time) was my prince charming, and I replied proudly that he was, and she whispered to me, "make sure you still carry a frying pan around, just in case!" and it was awesome too because my cousin who was two at the time like ran right up to her and she took him by the hand and walked him over to her area and was talking right along with him. She was definitely approachable and very sweet. The other two were good as well but she just went above and beyond with her acting.

I have never really had a bad experience with a character per say, Mostly it is people. I have had line cutters and people evil eying because we are adults. But I just ignore it. Its Disney you are supposed to be happy and magical!

It doesn't look like I have any pictures of Rapunzel on here, but I do I have the ones for Tink and Vidia.

Okay so I know the citizens of hollywood aren't exactly your typical Disney characters but I want to share a couple of stories.

Story #1
As most of you know I spend most of my time at Hollywood Studios. Well to get to where I take most of my breaks, I have to cross Sunset Boulevard. For a while I would always see Officer Percival Peabody while crossing Sunset.
Me- "Hi Officer Peabody"
Peabody- "Hi there young lady. Wait a minute...you missed your probation hearing last week."
Me-"Sorry Peabody. I'll be sure to show up to the next one."
Peabody-"Good young lady, otherwise I'll have to put you in the slammer."
Me-"Alright, I'll be sure to show up sir!"
Peabody-"Good and forgot to bring the coffee and doughnuts."
Me-"I won't forget them sir"
Now that's we joke about when we see each other.

Story #2
Everytime I get off, Bo Wrangler is usually out and about. I usually say hi to him. These past couple days has been amazing! Yesterday when I got off and said hi, I ended up having a full conversation with him. He asked me about my work location and why it's always not busy, then he asked if we were planning on marketing ourselves. I told him that guy in charge of the park said that he's going to get us a more noticeable sign to put out front so folks know that we are there. He then asked me if I knew about the name change for the park and if I was going to buy mugs in bulk for when the change happens. He made a friendly suggestion and I kindly told him that I like my job, that I don't plan losing it for something like that. By that point, Mimi Kaboom and some other guy had pulled up behind Bo. Mimi yelled at him for blocking up the road and traffic. Both Bo and I responded to her by saying "hey we're talking here". Then he went on to say don't you know who this is? It's Amanda, the famous barrista (he pronounced it a couple different ways) and I told him, technically I'm a specialty beverage hostess. Then he said, it's Amanda, the famous specialty beverage hostess. Then Mimi said something about a movie star and I said me! That made Bo laugh. Then Bo asked me if I had seen his brown horse and I told him no. He written brown on his horse since everyone kept thinking she was white. Then today as I was leaving, I got into a conversation with a couple co-workers when I saw Bo pass by. I said hey Bo! He responded with Hey! There she is!.
Have I mentioned how much I love the citizens of Hollywood? Well I love them a lot!
