Greetings from rainy London where I'm thinking forlornly of WDW!

Hello!

Its chucking it down with rain in London and we're about to get snow. The lights have been on all day because it's been so grey and as the afternoon has worn on I've been chatting to my husband about how if we could teleport we'd be going for dessert at Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs to brighten our moods. I Googled the dessert I'm fantasising about and this link came about - http://www.wdwforgrownups.com/articles/chocolate-pecan-pie-bar-frontera-cocina. And now I've found this site and spent a happy hour reading which has brightened things up considerably!

I'm mid thirties, journalist and mum of two, living just outside of London. As a family we're big WDW lovers - my husband proposed on the balcony at the California Grill just before everyone else came outside to watch Wishes and our children came out for their first visits at five and four months respectively. We're due to go back in May 2018, but my husband and I spend many happy afternoons emailing each other links to news, reviews and info about things we want to do and try. Having discovered this site I feel like I have found my people and am looking forward to reminiscing, picking up tips and generally having people to enthuse to!

So hi! Smile

Hi,
Welcome mickey
I'm new too since yesterday.
I just got engaged during the New Years 2017.
My fiance and i will be going to WDW for our Disneymoon and it will be our first time there in Jan/Feb 2019
We are super excited, but it is a long way til then.

I'm from California and it is raining. The river is high and flood warnings are in effect. It is very scary. We have been in a drought for many years here.

But don't let that get you down. I've been watching WDW on youtube to brighten my day. Also what's bright is our Xmas tree is still up. My fiance and i are still getting over the flu since new years and yes he proposed when we were both in the middle of the flu. It was still romantic. It also is more memorable too in a way that no matter how sick you are your loved one will be right next to you. Taking care of you and getting you well. So we still haven't taken down the xmas tree. It's been raining so much that people still haven't taken down their xmas lights on there houses.

I'm excited that your going back to WDW in 2018.

They are brilliant, thanks for sharing them. I have been known to watch Wishes on YouTube and the like when feeling a Disney funk.

Congratulations on your engagement - if you can have a romantic moment when you're both properly poorly then it's definitely love!

welcome Geekybadger to the best Disney forum around. You will feel right at home because we all have something in common the love of Disney. I live about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA and guess what we are getting rain too.

Hello from an equally we Basingstoke! We did get the snow but it's nicely washing away now.

Any other favourite things to daydream about while this weather is so depressing?
