Happy Cinco de Mayo

I know it's a day early, but....... For our next trip we're considering eating at one of the Mexican restaurants in EPCOT! Which has the best food and atmosphere or both? Watchmaker, I'm thinking about a full meal so we'll be stopping at La Cava either before of after our meal. LOL

We ate at La Hacienda de San Angel last year and loved it. I know they can make vegetarian items and I bet they can make vegan to. They have a great spinach salad on the menu. We sat right by the windows looking out at Illuminations.

Chips, cucumber and avocado? Vegan but...... Not sure it would be quite enough food waiting

We did Hacienda just before Illuminations. Great view, and if you aren't seated by the windows, they don't mind if you move. The music is piped in. The wait staff was watching, too, so make sure you freshen up your drink before hand!

I'm guessing, maybe Watchmaker meant tortilla chips? If they were giving away tacos, you would never get near the place. Unless you got a fp+ for it.

Oops. Sorry, Figgy. In response to your original question, we haven't done either Mexican table service. I had San Angel Inn booked, but then I realized that I could get AYCE crab legs at Cape May for basically the same price and I bailed. La Cantina is my favorite counter service. I can't imagine what they could possibly do inside to top that deliciousness.

Do you play that after "Life in the Fast Lane"? And then you have to stay at "Hotel California"?

I had a Mexican dinner last night in early honours too biggrin however the cantina did not do churros so I was a little bit upset hehehe! The baked cheesecake worked fine though wink

I have also eaten at la hacienda san angel and also the cs next door. Both meals were excellent, and the view of illuminations was good too.

However Figgy, I am firmly in the carnivore camp so I can't help with if it is a good place for vegans,or veggie lovers - sorry.

That's ok I checked out the menu for Hacienda and it looks like my carnivores and I will all be able to find something quite tasty!

A few tequila sunrises should solve that! Either you will be much better or at least think you are waiting
