Happy Labor Day Weekend

So, how does everyone plan to spend this holiday weekend? Right now all we have planned is dinner at my father-in-laws tonight and maybe a trip to Peddlers Village tomorrow with friends. (Sorry Vettlover, no trip aboard the Love Boat this time)

Oh darn a visit with Charo and the captains bouncy "girlfriend" would be be a fun way to spend some time celebrating our anniversary which was yesterday. Smile The celebrating will take place next weekend when we travel up to Lake George with six other Corvettes to attend the Adirondack corvette clubs "Vettefest" and the Adirondack Nationals hot rod show which displays some 1600 (combined between the two shows) beautiful Vettes and hot rods. Try googling them both. So we consider NEXT weekend our Labor Day four days of fun and banquets and parties. As for this weekend I have to work. yuck

I'm having a backyard cookout this afternoon - beef and chicken kebobs with grilled veggies.

Tomorrow and the day after, we are going to sort out the pins we will be bringing with us for our WDW trip later in the week for the pin event.

Zz.

My parents came up from PA for the weekend. Today we're going to a local fair. Not sure what we're doing tomorrow or Monday yet.

Scrappy, Peddler's Village is so pretty. I am jealous. muchlove

We're going to visit some friends in Jersey tonight for the new season of Doctor Who! Then we'll probably go out for wings and beer. Basically anything to avoid going near the Jay Z concert this weekend wink

(sigh) I'm working today, have a double shift tomorrow (might just sleep here tonight), and working monday, and tuesday. Hopefully if the weather is still nice on Wednesday, the DW, and I can hit New Hope, or Lahaska. But Wednesday does start a week off, so maybe I can see some family next week.

The band im in played a Festival Sunday, and after we were done, they wanted us to play more. So we played about an hour set. So Labor Day for me is sleeping in and relaxing!

Today is mt parent's 40th wedding anniversary! We spent the weekend day tripping. We went to the outlets in Reading, PA on Saturday. Hit up Atlantic City yesterday, and today we are just BBQing in the yard! 40 years and many more to them!

We did house and yard work Sat. then the movies. Yesterday was Clearwater Beach for the day, it was a perfect beach day. Today we were going to head to the World, but decided to stay home and relax, which means lesson plans and school work for me yuck I'd much rather be at Disney, but my students and I will be happy tomorrow when I am prepared to teach for the week!

Oohh Clearwater Beach. One of my favorites. Have you ever been to Cristiano's Pizza? I have eaten there the ast three times I've been in FL. We always make a day trip by going to where Winter the Dolphin is, then the beach, then to Christiano's. It's a casual pizza place but very much designed like a formal place. It's really nice and fairly inexpensive. Be sure to get some gelato afterwards as well!
