Have you ever lost a camera or photo card?

I realized 2 weeks after we got back from our May trip that I was missing my Samsung Video camera. I searched high and low, every suitcase and then called the AKL lost & found. No luck! But I did find this web site that someone might be interested in Foundyourcamera.com . It's pretty amazing what some people will go through to help return something to the rightful owner, and pictures can be a one of a kind thing, especially from a honeymoon or wedding or that special trip you'll only do once in a life time. I give this person a lot of credit starting this site and keeping it going. I'll definately use it again the next time I find a camera, camera card or photo, or even a photopass card.

Guess I'll just keep my eye on the webpage, maybe someone will post one of our videos or pictures from my camera. But take a look at the webpage, you might see someone you know.

I haven't lost a camera or video, but last trip I thought I lost my MiFi. Called the Airport because I thought I lost it during the searching process and left it in a bin. Called AKL and they had nothing. So I called my provider and told them to disconnect it and send me a new one. Well... about a month and a half ago I was looking through my book bag for a USB Memory Stick... and low and behold... the MiFi I lost. In my backpack.....

So maybe this will happen to you? I looked everywhere! Even that stinking backpack! So maybe its out in the open and you just don't realize it?

I have a picture on my camera (that stays there always) of my name and address..just in case this happens! I just hope the right person will find it and send it back.

I did loose my iPad at a conference once..I left it in the restroom but a really nice (I am guessing) person actually turned it into the front desk. I would have cried if I lost that thing!

Actually I did have my name and address on the camera as a picture on the hard drive in it. They just have to check it and be honesty enough to return it. Also has my work address and work phone number.

I lost a camera in 2011 at the luau at the poly, it had all of our pics from that trip, the first one he remembers, not on that site unfortunately, but that is a great thing that someone did i will keep checking

I lose my phone but thanks to findmy iPhone, I tend to get it back. I need a find my everything app.

We left our camera at the hotel (Port Orleans) in 95. They shipped it to my mom! I haven't lost a camera (yet) but I have lost my photopass card. I was pretty bummed but a cast member brought me to the photo studio and we went through ALL the photopass photos taken that day until we saw our picture and she used that picture to bring up our other pictures and put them on a new card for us! yay! I would have been sad because it was our engagecation and we had some fun photos!

ChipnDaleFan , thats the kind of thing when I say Disney goes all out! They could have just said " oh well, sorry", but they didn't.

I agree! One of the many things that makes it hard to vacation to other park areas! The girl at the desk was so understanding and patient! I'm down to 2 more days until it's time!
