Hello from Texas!

Hello Everyone,
I am so excited to be a part of this forum. mickey I made two trips to Disney World last year. Once at Spring Break with my group of Theatre students and then again in August with my husband, daughter (22 years) and my son (19 years). It was their first time going and it was so much fun watching them experience all the magic for the first time. I have already booked a 25th Anniversary trip for June for just my husband and myself. Let's just say that they are all now hooked! Yeah! Looking forward to chatting with everyone about everything Disney!

Thanks everyone! For our trip in June we are going to stay at Pop Century. We talked about staying in a PORS but decided that we will be spending so much time in the parks that we would rather use the savings on a couple of splurges at some of the table service restaurants that we didn't try last summer. We love it all! The rides, shows and we really enjoyed the variety of "snackage" at Epcot. Being a Theatre teacher, I thought the Lion King show and Finding Nemo were awesome. My son is a lighting design major and was able to speak with the Stage Managers for all the shows we saw and got some good advice about becoming an Imagineer. Happy New Year!

Hi and Welcome!! Your trip sounds like fun and a wonderful anniversary celebration.

Where in Texas are you from?? I grew up just outside of Houston, in Missouri City. I'd love to move back (to Texas, not necessarily Houston) one day!!

Hi and welcome Ms. Mouse! I'm a theater junkie myself...I've been doing plays since I was 4 and met my DH at our local community theater! Love that your son got to meet some of the Disney stage managers! When I was in 7th grade our dance team went to Florida and took a workshop at Disney with a couple of cast members. It's always cool to hear their perspective and tips from professionals in the field.

We are from League City....close to NASA and Houston. I have been to Missouri City many times when my DD was playing softball.

The workshops are awesome. Our kids did the Musical Theatre one last Spring and had a blast! It was the one based on Mary Poppins.
