Hello from Yorkshire , UK

Hi everyone ,

I have just come across this lovely forum and wanted to introduce myself. I am Lauren from Yorkshire in the UK and I am a wdw addict . I am fairly new to this addiction and went on my first once in a lifetime trip in Dec 2012 and am booked to go back in Nov 2014. I look forward to being part of this community in the countdown to my trip Smile

Welcome, Lauren from Yorkshire! Where did you stay on your 2012 trip? What were your favorite park, rides, meals, characters, etc?

Hi Alicemouse ,

Thank you for the warm welcome Smile

On our first visit we stayed 10 nights on Idrive before moving to POP for the final 5 nights of our trip . We loved the Christmas party and our favourite meal was Kona Cafe.. yummm that steak was special ! My favourite meet was meeting the main mouse himself where I will admit to getting a little emotional . My absolute favourite attraction is Haunted Mansion which to be honest I was not expecting to love so much but I could happily ride it all day .Next trip we ( me and my OH) will be staying at Port Orleans , French Quarter and using the DDP for the first time.I already have my ADR's in mind awesome

Yes we are on the DDP next year . We worked out that for the places we want to eat the upgrade would be more than worth it. I am really looking forward to trying my first 2ts meal although still not 100% on where to choose yet. I am also looking forward to sampling afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian , thanks to your wonderful blog .
