Hi from Canada!

Hi Everyone! I can't believe I only just found this site, it's fantastic! I (like all of you) LOVE Disney World and anything Disney related. I'll be heading there in November for my honeymoon and I couldn't be more excited. I can't wait to read up on all the tips and recommendations on this forum.

Hello fellow Canuck! yay

What province/city do you live in? We are in London, and I'm pretty new on this forum too. Great place, with great people who will answer any questions you may have. Where will you be staying?

Hello!
I am in North Bay Ontario. We will be staying at Coronado Springs. We usually stay at the value resorts but thought we'd step it up for the honeymoon Smile Have you ever stayed at Coronado Springs?

No, we've never stayed there. We've stayed at All-Star Music twice, and Port Orleans Riverside twice. We will be at POR this time too. I've heard nice things about Coronado, especially the pool! Stepping up to a Moderate is great if you can do it - quieter, and the food courts are usually better too. You will have a great time.

North Bay is a nice place - my sister used to live there years ago, and I always liked visiting there. Are you driving or flying down?

We will be driving down. We drove down a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. Its a nice drive and it gives you a chance to stop at different restaurants that we don't have here. I'm hoping there won't be much snow so we have a good drive.

Usually in November there's not that much snow - it usually melts if we get any at all - so you should have a good trip. I'd like to do a late October or early November trip - the weather in Florida is still great, and I hear the crowds are not bad.

Maybe the next trip we will try the driving, once DH has retired and we can take our time and explore as we go.

What a magical honeymoon! I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Hi Spook! We're so glad you found us! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and your honeymoon in Disney! While I haven't stayed at CS, I've been on the grounds, and friends of mine really love it.

I love that you are doing a roadtrip - that's how we always traveled when we lived up north, too.

Do you have any special plans or ADRs made for your trip? Will you be here during F&W Fest (Sept 28-Nov 11)?

We will be arriving November 9th so we'll catch the last weekend of the F&W Fest. I've never been there for that before. We are also planning on doing the 5K for the Wine and Dine half marathon (another first!). We're also hoping to do MVMCP and make reservations for Mickey's Backyard BBQ if they have any shows while we're there. Have you ever been to the BBQ? Iv'e been hearing good things about the Garden Grill (i think thats what it's called. The one in the Land at Epcot anyways) so i'm not sure if we should go there as well.

I haven't been, but I've heard good things, too! I did find some info on it from one of my favorite planning sites, Disney Food Blog. It looks like you can book it in November. They also just reviewed Garden Grill, so I'll include that link, too.

Congrats on the 5k! I did the Wine and Dine 1/2 last year and it was TONS of fun!
