Welcome and so excited for your trip! Your kids are going to flip out when you tell them! There are so many tips and things to help plan! Definitely research restaurant menus and make advanced reservations and pack tons of sunscreen! What kind of things in specific are you wondering about? Everyone on this board is wonderful and will have lots of tips!

Thank you for your replies, just after any general tips really about the parks what are must dos and how we can battle the queues!

We are staying offsite unfortunately on international drive-The budget wouldnt stretch to stay in Disney this time but were staying for 2 weeks, we cant wait to tell the kids just hoping people can keep it secret from them!

Theres so much planning we just want to know all we can to make the most of our trip!

Has anybody had tea with the princesses at Cinderellas castle, were planning on booking this aswell as the boutique for my Daughter and would love any feedback, were also going to do the pirate make over for our little boy who will celebrate his 3rd birthday whilst were there = D

Looking forward to your replys!

I'm confused (it doesn't take much these days). Are you going to Disneyland (CA) or Walt Disney World (FL)?

Smile No problem. I wanted to make sure we were giving you tips for the right place.

I agree with ChipnDaleFan on making advance dining reservations (ADR). You can make your ADRs up to 180 days in advance. You'll need to call or book online every day for each day since you are staying off property. If you were staying on property you can make your ADRs starting 180 days from check for up to 10 days.

I highly suggest you check out the Disney Food Blog for all food things Disney.

I'm not sure about having tea with the princesses at the castle. I know they have breakfast, lunch and dinner there (Cinderella's Royal Table). There is a tea party at the Grand Floridian (I think that's where it is). The boutique does sound fun. I've thought up making an appointment for myself (and I'm 42).

Hi and welcome! Its ok about being new... were all new at some point. This is a great place to ask questions because we wont bark at the questions. We will answer them with a happy smile! Its like in grade school.... there is never a stupid question... but when it got to high school... it turned to there is never a stupid question... just... well...... We take the grade school approach here thank goodness! biggrin

Again... welcome!
