Hello everyone. My name is Amanda and I am planning a trip to Disneyword with my husband, mom, brother and his partner. Our trip is planned for June 13 - June 19. I am the so-called expert as I used to be a Disney CP but that internship was back in 2003 and I know a lot has changed and my memory is not so good. I am very excited to finally be returning to Orlando and WDW. I can't wait!

Nice to meet you LeStitch This really is a great group of people. I have been a member for only 11 weeks but it seems like it's been years. There is such diversity, from the old farts (like me) to newly engaged and newly wed. There are people from all over the world and all over the U.S and Canada. Some are very sweet and nice and others who are quite ornery. It has been quite entertaining learning the various personalities. Haven't met any in person yet, but hope to do that soon. There are various levels of addiction on this forum, a few are planning their first trips and many who are enablers and encourage the addiction. They are usually Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders.......you know who you are!! 
You will get some great advise, all you have to do ask!

On our trip I am looking to stay at either a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort. I am looking at either staying at The Contemporary or maybe Disney's Boardwalk Villas. It will be 5 adults to a room. Not ideal however a) we're trying to save money and b) stay at a resort that is easy to get to the parks via the monorail. My mother is not going to all of the parks and when she does I want it to be easy for her to go back to her resort and rest.
We are also treating this trip as our honeymoon. We never took a honeymoon and this is the biggest trip we've taken together so i'm excited to share this with my husband. I want to have a nice dinner at Ohana at the Polynesian which I really enjoyed when I used to live there.
For five adults I would highly recommend at least a 1 bed room villa that has two bathrooms. Bay Lake is right on the monrail and is even walking distance to MK. It also has a full kitchen and a washer & dryer. I absolutely love the Contemporary but five adults sharing one bathroom makes it difficult to get ready in the morning! If most of your time will be spent at EPCOT I would recommend the villas at Beach Club or Boardwalk. Beach Club is a seven minute walk to the "back door" of EPCOT and Board Walk isn't much further. Boat launches are also available to take you to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. However I believe that the one bedroom villas close to EPCOT have only one bathroom, however it is split with two sinks, a shower and commode. (Kind of like the DCL cabins). Don't forget to make dining reservations 180 days out! The most popular restaurants tend to book very quickly!
Oops! I forgot that Beach Club and Boardwalk one bed room villas accommodate only four people! 
My recommendation is Bay Lake hands down.
