Hispanic Heritage Month At F & W...

Good Friday Morning..Just been reading that from September 15th to October 15th, it's Hispanic month at Epcot during the food & wine festival, featuring countries like Puerto Rico, Brazil, Mexico, and Patagonia ...Now these menus I have already noted as some of my favourites, in fact apart from Terra serving up Blackened Chicken breast & gumbo sauce, and Crabless crab cake & pepper slaw Cajun style, these countries are on my must try list..I think I need to pack extra elastic waist pants for this vacation... laugh

September 15 to October 15 is Hispanic heritage month everywhere in the USA, not just Epcot. It's like black history month is February, women's history month is March, I think Asian-Pacific heritage month is May, etc. The reason they do it from mid-September to mid-October is because of important dates in Hispanic history (a Mexican holiday, Columbus Day, maybe some others as well, I don't know). I was not aware that Epcot was doing anything special for Hispanic heritage month, but then again, it doesn't surprise me. Probably a few extra flourishes around the Mexico pavilion as well.
