In November 1990, in order to make room for Splash Mountain, the Walt Disney World Railroad's Frontierland train station was entirely demolished. Frontierland's new station, which was built as part of Splash Mountain, opened in December 1991.

The Fountain of Nations in Epcot can shoot water more than 150 feet into the air. If all of the water cannons were fired at the same time, 2,000 gallons of water would fill the air.

75 days to go..Just read a invoice on a e Mail that came in yesterday..We have to inform Disney via telephone ( UK free phone ) that we intend to use the ME...So I have 15 days till i make my FP+ dates...My seat choices on the plane..My resort check in, and paying my outstanding vacation..

A 9,500 seat baseball stadium built in 1997. One of the original components of Wide World of Sports, it was formerly known as Cracker Jack Stadium and The Ballpark at Disney's Wide World of Sports. It is the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves and the recurring home for the Gulf Coast Braves. The stadium has hosted two regular season Major League Baseball series in 2007 and 2008 featuring the Tampa Bay Rays as the home team. It is sponsored by Hanes with their Champion brand.

So what if there's no snow in Central Florida? Each Christmas season, Walt Disney World is "decked" with more than four miles of garland, 1,000 wreaths and 300 Christmas trees. The tallest of the lot is a 96-foot tree in Disney's Contemporary Resort. In addition, six trees, which range in height from 50-80 feet, are placed in prominent positions in the theme parks.

And we have 6 Mondays left before we leave, or 45 days, or 1,089 hours, 65,369 minutes or....... 
Of course obligations for two concert bands, and two choirs start in there too......

One of the most enjoyable and easiest ways to travel from Hollywood Studios to Epcot (or vice versa) is to take a Friendship boat. You can board one of these boats at the front of Hollywood Studios (the launch is on the left as you leave the park) or at the International Gateway in Epcot. The ride takes about 25 minutes. From Hollywood Studios the boats stop first at the Swan/Dolphin, then at the Yacht & Beach Club, followed by the Boardwalk, and finally, it reaches its final stop at Epcot. You can get off at any of these stops and explore the resorts, then board another boat or simply walk to your destination.

We'll on Sunday night after we unpack, we will hit MK..On the Monday we are going to make FP + for DHS in the evening as it has two extra hours...From 7.00 till 9.00..I'am hoping to meet another friend from an old site before she and hubby flies back back to New York..Does she come from the big apple.?...Now I'am scratching my head..I'll have to check that..I already put my foot in it the first time I met my wife's sisters hubby..I said.." What was it like growing up in California ?" He replied " Dunno, I grew up in Texas." Doh!...Didn't see that coming...
