There were about 5,000 performers on opening day of the Magic Kingdom, not including the 5000 doves that were released.

Friday is upon us once again..Today we print out our PS5.00 vouchers for Manchester airport..And I get my suitcases MOT..And I do a final check of our Disney assault....51 days till arrival..

Next week I do pre holiday holiday clothing check, go through wardrobe and decide what to wear and get it all out, then I cull it about 2 weeks beforehand. Toilet bag is already packed as I buy travel bits throughout the year and stash them.

There is a marker in Epcot showing the exact center of the park. It is located just to the west of Innoventions West (on that path that leads straight to The Land).

Sorry..Yeh we are doing a 12 night/ 13 day vacation due to the flights...For us to fly out on a Saturday and fly home on a Saturday, our flights would have cost us PS549 each person each way..But flying out on a Sunday and returning on a Friday it was PS277 each person each way..A saving of over PS800..... Even a Scotsman can't refuse that offer..LOL..

Researchers at Castaway Cay are helping to restore the health of coral reefs through a unique research project transplanting native sea urchins in The Bahamas. The urchins help to control harmful algae levels that can choke out corals, and the project is providing vital research for rebuilding coral reef systems that serve as homes for tropical fish and marine life.

250 DAYS ...
The colored concrete walkways in the Magic Kingdom seem to correspond to each section " but they're actually colored because Kodak and Disney did a study and found that light reflecting off colored concrete creates more vivid photographs.
