Hi all! I will be traveling with a large group (7 kids 6 and under, 15 adults and teenagers). We are going to MK on July 3 and HS on July 4 (my younger son's birthday). Right now we are planning on leaving the parks around 1 each day and returning around 3 or 4 so the kids can get a break/nap. Do you think we will have difficulty getting back into either of the parks on those days due to the crowds? We attempted to forego naps last year and it was disastrous to say the least!

. Yes in my opinion, you might have trouble on July 4, thats one of the busiest days of the year.

That's a rough question as these are days that frequently meet capacity and "occasionally, cast members reserve the right to turn away even resort guests if a given theme park gets so crowded that safety becomes a concern." (source)
I would love to tell you no problem, and any other week of the year (aside from christmas) I would, however there's just no way to be sure that week.
Yeah.... thats going to be super hard. My recommendation is for the littler ones to have strollers and try to find a quiet place for them to maybe nap? I know with our daughter... she was able to pass out around that time.
I concur; you may meet with capacity issues. For very small children, you might find a respite in the Baby Care Centers. I took my oldest there to nap when she was 6 months, and it was perfect.
Thanks Guys! Hopefully I will be able to better gauge the crowd levels/capacity issues in the morning. We're planning to arrive at rope drop each day.
