Impulsive trip to MNSSHP!

Well folks, I just had to do it. That AP is burning a hole in my pocket, and I just gotta go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

So here's the plan:

Leave after school Friday Sept. 27, and drive part of the way down. I have a commitment Friday evening, so I will be leaving late.

Arrive at WDW Sat as early as I possibly can! Check into a Fairfield off of S. Apopka, and hit the parks...maybe F&W....although I know Saturdays are crazy there.

Sunday Sept 29 - MK!!! Mickey's Halloween Party!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday Sept 30 - using a "personal day" from work to enjoy an AM in the park of choice, then head out around 1 or 2 to cruise through the Atlanta traffic after rush hour.

A crazy whirlwind, I know, but it will be so much fun. The total advantage of knowing WDW well is that you spend no time figuring out how to get around, find things, etc. You just DO IT!

It all started last week when my shipment from the Disney Store arrived....a Halloween plush Mickey and Minnie.....

Sorry you weren't able to snag a last minute room, but congrats on the last minut trip! I say give F&WF a shot on Saturday. We went there the first day we arrived last year on a Saturday and as long as your anticipating big crowds and plan on not being able to hit much, I really didn't think it was THAT bad! Have a great weekend getaway!

It is so great you are able to do impulsive trips. That is the number one item on my bucket list. Maybe someday Mrhub and I will able able to do one.

To clarify, there WERE some rooms available, but not any left in the "free dining" block. I decided to therefore go for the Marriott, and as a bonus I will earn a free night to use in the future. They are having a "two stays, get a free night" promotion now, and my night on the way down and my nights down there earn me this. Yippee.
Another impulsive trip night in the bank for later...Smile
