What an absolutely amazing trip report, y'all! The pictures...the beer...the commentary...the beer...the unbelieveabilty of no crowds...the beer...did I mention the beer? This report has certainly made us rethink our next trip timing. We can deal with the heat & humidity (we live in south Georgia)...and not having a crowd?

Really, Ken...please...next time...can we have more beer reports? Oh, heck...we'll just go during F&W Festival and partake of the beer along the way.

Thanks, guys!

WOW Ken and Jan!!

This trip report is AMAZING! Felt like I was there clapping You really made me fall in love with the Boardwalk...I have never explored that area and now it looks like a must do!

Thanks for the compliments (and reading through 8 pages worth of postings!). awesome

We really enjoyed doing a trip report (our first time doing one). It's funny that we posted almost all the same photos on our FB pages and hardly got any response. Our friends/family were like waiting Oh well, I guess not everyone "gets" Disney World.

I'm looking forward to the next one at the end of January. But my DC (as in Dear Camera) is in need of repair so I have to get it all fixed up and healthy for the next trip. mickey

I know I'm SUPER late to the party (hey, where did you all go?!) but I just wanted to say thank you so much for the stunning pictures! It really hit the spot on a cold, snowy Christmas night and I've fallen in love with the Boardwalk. I've been day dreaming about DH and I's next adults only trip and I for sure want to do September now! I can deal with crowds or I can deal with heat/humidity but both at the same time is just too much. I agree with your lovely wife - there is something about the heat that I enjoy when I'm in WDW. It just adds a level of "hey, we're on vacation!" for me. Thanks again!

I'm with you Becks about WDW in September/October. I hate heat and humidity but when I am at the most Magical place cool breezes always seem to be there! And Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Thanks Becks. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. The heat of that September trip would sure feel good now that winter is here!

Thanks Colonel. We're now thinking of booking in October 2014. We've been in September and November and I think October would be the perfect time. Plus the F&W is on!

I'm super late in joining in, but thanks for doing this great TR, Ken & Jan! We're staying at Boardwalk and planning to do the Steam Train tour when we take my parents in April. I love your photos and very much enjoyed the discussion about RAW format since I am shopping for my new camera tomorrow!! Glad to hear that crowds were as light as advertised in September as we'll be hitting Sept/Oct. next year and we were not impressed by the alleged "low crowd level" during the first week of December.

This was an amazing report and even better pictures!! Holy cow!

Also actually has me super glad I decided on early September for my next (planned) trip. I don't like crowds and waiting much at all, and I can handle heat/humidity ok being from the south so it looks/sounds perfect to me! yay

Hi everyone. I apologize in advance if this thread pops up under "New Posts". There is in fact nothing "new". Most of the photo links are dead and I'm going to go through and correct them so the photos show up properly. It's going to take a bit of time, but as it sits right now, this report is rather useless without the photos.

Thanks! mickey

Haha, I clicked on "new posts" on this thread and started reading without looking at the dates and got really confused after thinking "I feel like I've read this all before...." Whoops!

LOL... I messed up the photos in Photobucket. You know the button that says "Don't Press"? Yeah, I pressed it. eek

After the smoke stopped coming out my computer and the ringing in my ears subsided, I realized I had some fixin' to do. laugh
