Got lunch at Mara... Had BLT hotdog and caramel apple cupcake... They were yummy... The magical express is doing the magic bands so that was nice not having to deal with the booklet and it was awesome using them to get into our room because our hands were full so there was not fumbling around for the key.... We are now getting ready to head to Epcot with our first fast pass starting at 3 then supper at Via Napoli.... I can already see the benefits of fast pass plus because most of the fast passes at Epcot are gone for the day so if it wasn't for fast pass plus we wouldn't have ours

I can't translate it... But i'm going to go ahead and say that the meaning is somewhere in this transcript...

Narrator: On fine Phoenician ships, we take our scrolls to sea. Real scrolls simplified by an alphabet, eagerly shared at distant ports of call.

Narrator: Deep in the shadows of Mount Olympus, our alphabet takes route, flowering with new expression. Hail the proud Greeks: Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides. The theater is born.

Narrator: North, south, east, and west, all roads lead from Rome, a mighty network reaching across the land, welding far-flung garrisons into a growing empire.

Narrator: Glorious Rome, until consumed by the flames of excess. Imperial Rome, lost in the ashes of darkness.

Narrator: Far from the dying embers, Islamic wise men preserve ancient wisdom and weave a rich network of new knowledge linking east and west.

Narrator: In western abbeys, monks toil endlessly transcribing ancient wisdom into hand-penned books of revelation.

lol

Had a great first day... Went to Epcot and everything went great with our magic bands and fast pass plus. We loved the new test track and dinner at Via Napoli. Then we got some yummy beverages at food and wine... Very much enjoying our adults only trip

Actually mase has red this time and I have red for the second week of our trip but the grey ones are just to boring... Lol... And this goes to show what a small world it is... Besides already running into someone from the board we also got to talking to a cast member from Ohio who used to work at the highschool that's like 5 miles from where me and mase live

Crowd levels at Epcot yesterday were reported to be a 7 and it was pretty busy... I'm chalking that up to the food and wine fest...and today they are reported to be a 6... But after today they go down to 4 and 3 and next week is like 2 which is what we are more used to. Like yesterday even with our fast passes every line we were in was at least like 5-25 mins which usually we are used to not waiting in line with fast passes or even like spaceship earth we usually can always walk right on that ride and the standby line for that was a 25 min wait all day. I don't know if there was more of a wait in the fast pass line cause more people are using them now since you can schedule them or if it was more related to the crowd level... I'm thinking it was more due to the crowd level so we will see what happens once the crowd levels did down a little bit. Also one of the problems we ran into yesterday was even though our fast passes were scheduled back to back to back we were stuck waiting a lot of the time for like 10-20 mins for our ride time to come available which used to not really be a problem since you couldn't get a fast pass until your hour window was up before... And I also don't really see it being a problem today at magic kingdom since there are more rides to do closer together while we wait. But overall I still think fast pass plus is a great feature. The only thing that I'm not going to like is now they are doing the tiered fast passes at Epcot and I think they are going to eventually be doing them everywhere where you can't have two fast passes for the big attractions like soarin and test track at the same time which stinks because those are two that you really need fast passes for. We were exempt from it this time though because we had already set up our fast passes before that rule went into effect.

Funny thing is we were all excited because we were like no kids... We can actually sleep in this week... Nope from a the Disney excitement I was up at like 7 ready to go... Lol... Plus the one thing about Disney that I hate is the beds are hard as a rock... At least at AKL and they are smaller then our beds at home and me and mase don't share the bed or covers very well... Lol

Wow great view! All the food looks super yummy so far and great nails, Jess! awesome That's also awesome to hear you can use Magic Bands for the ME...I didn't know that, that's awesome! It's such a hassle to dig out your booklet in line so that'll be super nice going forward!

Day 2 in the books was another great day. We went to the Magic Kingdom. We had fast passes originally for pirates, big thunder, and splash mountain.... Decided we didn't want to do big thunder or splash today so we were able to just change our fast passes on the fly which was really nice... We are just loving fast pass plus... Magic kingdom was having major technical difficulties today. Every single time we would get in a line for a ride it would break down but overall they didn't take to long to fix it. We also played some sorcerers of the magic kingdom today and explored the shops on Main Street. We also got Starbucks and it's awesome because all the drinks are snack credits on the DDP even the venti size. We had dinner at Kona Cafe.... It was the first time we ever ate there so I got the noodles and the banana crepe brulee and of course the lapu lapu and everything was so yummy Smile

Forgot to mention we tried out the Christmas version of the jungle cruise... I was kind of disappointed because I expected them to decorate the animals for Christmas but they just decorated the boats and added Christmas jokes
