Log In on the Homepage?

I was wondering if this is possible. At home its not an issue because I am always logged in on my PC. But when im at work, in order to sign in I have to go to the forum and then sign in. Which is not a problem, till I forget and want to comment on one of the news articles on the homepage... remembering I have to go to the forum, log in, and then refresh the news page so it knows im logged in. This isnt a huge issue at all, but was just wondering.

Awesome - whenever i go to comment on the columns or articles, i always have to come to the forum and get distracted and forget to go back!
