I have been checking my disney experience nearly every day to see if we get offered the magic bands. I logged in last night and the pop up was there saying customise your magic bands. I clicked on it. The pop up screen disappeared and I have not been able to locate the option to customise again. We are 15 days away from our trip and staying at OKW. Do you think this was a blip in the system? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Try clicking on "Manage MagicBands" and see if you are able to customize from there.

So I decided to call Disney. I rang customer services. They asked me to ring the technical department. Finally got through after 20 minutes. The call operator was helpful in true Disney style. She liaised between me and the tech help desk and after about 40 minutes, the problem was fixed and I had the option to customise our bands.
I tried to get as much info as I could. All resorts are now rolled out for Magic Bands, however there have been technical glitches with OKW resort. Disney has been trying to fix this for the last couple of days.

I have to admit, I've turned into a Magic Band snob. Oh, you just have GREY bands? Hmmm....I see you didn't personalize YOURS. I may need a reality check!

I picked orange, no particular reason, I just liked it. My DH chose.... Wait for it.... GREY!

I have orange and DH has red. After the initial problem we have had no issues at all, and yes some CM do call you by name when you go through, most don't though.

So....we were able to customize our magic bands for our January visit (I chose pink and Ken went with blue) and we were just wondering if WDW ships to Canada? I know they don't ship internationally but wasn't sure if we get them here. Any one from Canada get them?

I just found out that everyone who comes to Walt Disney World will get a magicband because Disney wants to phase out plastic cards all together.

We are annual pass holders, and we never stay at a Disney resort, so I wanted to know if/when we would get a magic band. When I called the annual pass holders number last month, I was told that AP should be getting them soon after testing is over. I was told that by spring 2014(they said possibly summer) everyone who comes to Disney world will be getting magic bands, whether they stay at a Disney resort or not.

It seems like they are still testing the magic bands. We got Mickey Email inviting us to test mymagic+. Our trip will be Jan 5-12. I've been working on scheduling FP+ and have ordered our bands. Now, I started doing all this before I received the email because the links were available on my Disney experience. But the email is the "official" notice. The email did say that we will be asked to do several surveys during our trip. And it also says that it is still not available to everyone yet.

I know everyone is getting a magicband because attractions cast members are scanning bands to see if guests are staying at a resort for EMH. They are just getting trained right now on it. Also, Swan and Dolphin are part of fastpass+ as well. I'm not sure when APs will get the bands.
