Kinda don't know what to say about this... Lol

Right now I do have one secret thing planned. I say secret because I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off. I do plan on doing the dinner thing again for supper and like last time... If chosen ill send out pins. But I'm really hoping this secret thing will work. I'm taking a couple ideas from here but going to amp it up by 11. It's possibly more work on my end, but should turn out to be sweet.

So yeah... Expect the dinner thing again. The definite places are whispering canyon on Monday. Ohana on Wednesday and someplace I haven't been yet but my parents have. So that is going to be a big one. I will try my best to keep things coming ASAP since he other nights we won't have Adr's. So for those days... I'll post where were going to be at... And suggest a place for lunch. Winner gets a pin. But lunch will be harder because your not jut convincing me.... But our whole family that's going.

So yeah... Here is what to expect for...

Pick out a meal for Whispering Canyon and he new place... Gotta find that one out. Ohana since its all you can eat... Can't do too much for it.
On the other days... Pick out a lunch, possibly dinner

Hope that's not too confusing... Lol

And the secret thing... Hopefully I can pull it off. Will depend on bandwidth. Going to put my iPhone 5 and iPad 3 to use. If I can't do it right away like I want... It will be a nightly thing.

Good. I hated to see you get prepared to start the "great dinner debate" to only find out the option for choices are appetizers and meats for the family platter or whatever it is called.

And I nailed down the secret part. Got two different ones, and will announce them now because if anything... I can upload them at night if I cant upload them right away.

I am going to video something and you guys have to place where it is. Going to try to do hidden mickeys! Just instead of a pic... ill try to make it a bit more fun.

The second is going to be a video diary I guess. Try to make little videos of the things were doing through the day rather than typing it all out. In order for me to get them up quickly... I wont upload in HD... but when I can... I will upload in HD. So im going to try to go for a very interactive Trip Report.

Yeah... its going to be a matter of YouTube cooperating and posting the link here all from a phone. In my head im thinking it shouldnt be difficult. A couple days before ill do my pre-trip report in this fashion to try it out. See what works and what doesn't. Im pretty psyched about this one. Its what I wanted to do last year... but service was spotty. But from what I see... Verizon has LTE everywhere. So if thats the case... ill be golden. Just have to watch the battery! lol

Yeah... I saw it got condensed down quite a bit. So for example on this one... say someone picks the platter... ill have them suggest something from it because while the platter is awesome... I wont eat everything on it. I think when I did the platter laster year I was pretty selective on what I ate. So especially with Whispering Canyon... if ya pick the platter... suggest what to eat from it. Thats what ill do with Ohana as well because especially this time... ill be more selective now that I know what is good and what is not. So after last year... I got a pretty good idea on how to tweak this... heh

So yeah... got to do a bit of testing at least here. Took a video of my daughter playing drums and singing, and decided I needed to get it up on YouTube. Glad I encountered this now. Went to upload it and I couldnt. Found out I was limited to only 20 megs! I had a 1 minute 9 second video. Even at the lowest setting I couldnt upload it. So I remember I had a YouTube app that would upload at 720p which would be perfect. So I tried that and it worked! On Verizons LTE... it took about 2 minutes to upload and will give me a link to publish which should go on here perfectly! After this post im going to test to see if the link appears as a "link" or will put the video actually on the thread.

I tested this last year! I could have told you it worked dude! The more you upload too, your limit will increase some.

It was more of a bandwidth issue more than anything. If on LTE it was going to take a while, then I would do it. I dont want to kill my battery. I remember last year uploading some of the lights in HS and for a minute video it took 30-40 minutes on 3G and KILLED my battery. So I was testing all of the possibilities in it. I got that 720tube App. Loves that it give ya the link to the video and it works with the site. The hope is to record something and have it Live in less than 5 minutes to make this pretty up to date and not kill my battery... lol

Mase, why don't you have a battery pack for your stuff? i highly recommend the Satechi battery or Anker brick. The Satechi is small yet mighty. It will charge my iPhone 5 2.5 times. The Anker Brick will charge laptops and video cameras. It's big and heavy but does the trick nicely.
The Satechi is under $40 and the brick runs about $80.
Either one will help with battery issues.

I have a Duracell charger and it charged my iPhone 4 x2... but its missing. I think I know where it is... but im not 100% sure. I will buy one if I have to though, but ill look into the Satechi. Like portable.
