Memory Maker Questions

Hey there, hi there, ho there

my family is heading to WDW in september and we are looking at the Memory Maker package. We have some questions though. We are 4 groups going, all on different reservations. Can we buy one Memory Maker and all use it the same way? Someone told if we are linked on the app that everyone can upload photos from their phones, but wouldn't be able to link photopass photos, unless they are from the same reservation number.

Can anybody provide me more details on Memory Maker? We just don't know if we can buy one, or if we need multiple since we won't all be together at the same time, the whole time.

Maybe Mr Hub or Scrappy can confirm this as I know they just had Memory Maker with their kids' families, but I think as long as you have them linked under Family/Friends it shouldn't be an issue.

We used it on our last vacation and were able to do what you've mention above.

Be sure that you've linked your fellow travelers to your My Disney Experience account via the Friends and Family section. Once you're at the parks you'll be able to use any of your Magicbands to add photos to the Memory Maker package.

There was an afternoon where we split up at Magic Kingdom and several people rode on different rides. All the ride photos and photos taken by cast members flowed onto the account by the following afternoon.

Hopefully that helps!!!

We also had no problem doing this with my sister-in-law and her family. She is actually the one who purchased it and then we just linked together online.

We spent plenty of time apart and there was no issue with either of us gaining access to the pictures from the Memory Maker. It actually even worked after they checked out 2 days before us. I came home to so many awesome pictures from my last trip!

Yes they all have to be under family and friends of the person that bought the memory maker and they will be under that persons account.

And as Nikki mentioned, from the time the first person on the reservation arrives and takes the first picture, you've got 14 worth of photos that can be taken. So if you plan on coming later in the week and staying a bit later, so long as it's within that 14 day period, you'll still be able to add photos to that Memory Maker account Smile

Well worth it!
