New country in Epcot rumors??

I saw this today:
http://orlando.bizjournals.com/orlando/blog/2010/08/a_new_country_at_epcot.html

I have always heard these rumors about a new pavilion at Epcot for years now and I would love to see a new country emerge!

It looks like Spain is the front runner..personally I'd love to see an Australia or a South Africa. Russia would be neat but I can't expect the food would be very good.

Also, the new Monsters Inc. rollercoaster at HS?!?! Awesome!

Great another coaster Smile But being themed on Monsters Inc. it will need to be very (small) child friendly.

I'm wondering about the idea of a Monsters Inc coaster also. My HOPE would be it would be kind of Space Mountain-ish, as you race through the doors to find the one you need.

New countries would be awesome in WS. I would hope for another ride type attraction (which I think would best be suited for Australia...

Loving the idea of both of these. Spain would be a very cool addition to the showcase, and I bet the food would be delicious.

Concerned with Tony's point that the monsters inc coaster would be for the little 'uns. I'd love to see a new coaster, but I agree that with the addition of EE so recently, we might not see another big one. Plus, there's not much for the teeny tots at DHS.

I wonder if they think that they've done all the thrill rides they need to do after adding EE and ToT. I fear it will be more kid-centric.

The article also mentions a charlie and the chocolate factory "survey question" from the Universal Studios people... That might be fun.

Alton Towers in the UK has a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride. It's well themed by UK park standards but not any where near U.S. standards.

Wow if Universal did something with Charlie and the Chocolate factory it would be the first thing I really love that they got instead of Disney. I always thought it was great that the Muppets wound up in Disney's camp, since I love Disney and I love Muppets. If Universal gets HP and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory though, they'd finally be getting some stuff that would motivate me.
