Hello everyone!
My name is Lisa and I'm from Lousiana. My Hubby and I are self-proclaimed Disney fanatics. We have two grown children who love Disney too. Our oldest is 24 and the "baby" is 21. We have been travelling the last several years sans children. I have to say, we love going to Disney just us "big kids".

Hi Jeff, and thanks for the welcome.
Our usual travel time is Thanksgiving week as my hubby is a teacher and the week off is great travel time. I'm hoping to pair our usual week with a 4 day cruise on the Dream. Fingers crossed!

My favorite resort is Port Orleans French Quarter (That we've stayed at). But we usually stay at POP. I'm excited to see the new Art of Animation and one day I will stay at Animal Kingdom Savannah view!
We love to eat on property. My faves are:

1900 Park Fare
Flying Fish
Yak & Yeti
Mama Melrose
I could go on and on...there are few places we've eaten that we wouldn't return to.

This is definitely a warm and comfortable place. I must admit I love all things Disney and Hubby and I just really love all the experiences we have there. The kids love Disney as much as we do, especially our daughter. She would like to work at Disney at some point in her life.

We are from LA too...Lafayette area...And we also travel/vacation the week of Thanksgiving. Que the coincidence music here...LOL!
We will be headed to Disney this later this year and we are most excited. Staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek...lucked into a free timeshare...kinda hard to pass that up. Plus that means more money to spend elsewhere...like on food and Disney things!
I discovered this site when we started our research and the people here are wonderful...so nice and there is some great info here that will help with planning. Especially meals...Love reading about the trips and restaurant experiences.
