New resort at WDW

Just picked up this from the orlando sentinel disney blog...

The map on the article puts it across the lake from Pop Century which suggests they'll use the buildings that have already been started over there. I wonder why they didn't continue with the original early years theme and complete PopC properly.

I would have loved to see the Legendary Years built. I AM excited about staying in the Cars section of the new resort, but my imagination ran wild when I thought about how they would theme the rooms for the 10s and 20s in the Legendary years. Bittersweet news for me.

So is it confirmed that it's going to replace Legendary Years or is that just speculation?

According to the article they will be using the land and buildings from the legendary years.

I wonder what they're going to do with the giant numbers that were already on the buildings...
