Newbie here!

Hello! My name is Jackie and I'm a Disney addict! Wink I am a Registered Nurse (maternity) but recently became a SAHM because of scheduling. I have 3 kiddos, 11(next week); 6(7 on Christmas); and 3yrs! We have been DVC members since 2008- home resort Animal Kingdom. Our next trip to WDW is in 138 days, but who is counting right? laugh I am excited to have found this forum! mickey

Thanks everyone! I am feeling the muchlove!

JoAnn C - in general MK is my favorite, but some rides are BTM, Dumbo, Tea cups; I can't wait for the new Dwarfs Mine roller coaster! Hope it's open in February!

Magic Days- yep the ADRs are booked! We were online at midnight on the 180 day mark. laugh Sme of our Favorites we booked: Chef Mickeys, Cape May Cafe (both dinner and breakfast); our new favorite= Be Our Guest; Crystal Palace; O'Hana; Tusker House.

Some new one we are trying: Hollywood and Vine (we usually do 50's Prime Time); Rose and Crown Pub; Kona Cafe; T-Rex. How do they sound? Kona Cafe is an "add on" I wanted to try it but we also have O'Hana for dinner so wasn't sure if we are going to keep both (I know, that's a lot of food) or cancel one, but hubby really wants O'Hana. If we keep oth we will have to pay for Kona.

Eeyore- I live up in New Hampshire. Leaves are looking beautiful this year! Autumn is my favorite season! Smile

Hello! Hmmmm......best things about AK as home resort.....I love the whole atmosphere/savannah.....and for some reason it uses the least amount of points as other DVC resorts. But some drawbacks is the it really is far away from everything and it's really "dark"....dark colors, dark wood, even the lighting is muted. But that is all minor!

You know I don't remember what I got???? I think I got the chicken breast pronvencal? My daughter was two so I think shared it with her. My hubby and both sons I believe, got the grilled strip steak (which I probably would have ordered) but now my daughter loves steak! Good thing it is on the kids menu too! I do remember everything was very good! I haven't had lunch there yet, I can't wait to try the lunch! It sounds so cool with the "magic" rose.......I think looking at the menu....the carved turkey sandwich sounds delish!
