NikkiMouse November Pre-Trip Report (UPDATED)

This trip is a little different as it is only me and my daughter (age 11 when we go). My husband is kind of Disney-ed out, which is a concept that I do not understand. However, he did tell me that if I got a bounceback offer when I go, he might be willing to go again. I think I am finally getting him infected with the Disney bug.

So anyway, onto our trip. It will be a quick one. 3 nights and 4 days with a lot packed into that short time period.

Big differences this trip: no husband, moderate over value, no dining plan

ARRIVAL DAY!
November 7:
We will be flying out of Newark, NJ at 6:00am, which should get us into MCO by 9:30ish. We are staying in POFQ (for the first time!!!). Breakfast will just be at the resort and then we will be off to the Magic Kingdom, which is our traditional first day park. FastPasses for this day: 7DMT Jungle Cruise, Splash Mountain, and Haunted Mansion. Dinner will be at Pinnochio Village Haus. It is my daughter's favorite QS; I am pretty sure it is the view of IASW that does it for her. By this time, after being at an airport since 4 am, I think it will be time to head back and maybe do some swimming weather permitting. This night there will also be a campfire at POR, so I hope that we can make our way over there also.

November 8:
This morning I have the Family Magic Tour planned. This will be our first time doing any of the tours and this one seemed like a good one to start with. We need to be at the MK by 9:45am for the tour, and it takes about 2 hours. After this we are going to head back to resort to relax a bit and swim. After going back and forth, I finally decided that we needed to go to BOG for lunch on this trip. Of course, I decided this 2 weeks before the trip. Someone was looking out for me though because after only checking a couple of times, I was able to secure an ADR for 1:45pm. I hope to go to DAK at night, but I am waiting on hours to be released because at this point it still shows early closing time. I would love to be able to go on the safari at night, so I really hope that this option opens soon. We will be heading to DAK after this: FastPasses for Kali River Rapids, Mickey and Minnie and then the safari at 6pm.

November 9:
We will be heading to HS in the morning for EMH. The plan is to head straight to TSM since we will not have FastPasses for it, and then my daughter will do a solo ride on Star Tours yuck

After that, I think we will head over to Epcot where I hope to get FastPasses for either Frozen Ever After or Soarin'. I have not decided which one. It will be Food and Wine time, so I am sure we will head over to the World Showcase. Food that night will either be at Epcot or we might head over to Disney Springs and take the boat back over to POFQ from there. We are going to stay in Epcot. I am still trying to figure out best place to eat though!

November 10 (LAST DAY ALREADY! sad )
Today will be MK day again. We probably would not have ridden Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates or Jungle Cruise yet, so they will definitely be on the list for today. BTMR is supposed to still be closed for refurb, but I am trying to be optimistic that it will be open by the time we get there. It is my daughter's favorite, so I know she will be bummed if it is not open. No chance of BTMR being open at this point; however, we do have FastPasses for 7DMT, Peter Pan's Flight, and Buzz Lightyear. We are going to hop on the monorail and head to Gasparilla Island Grill for an early lunch. I have never been in the GF, and I am always looking for new QS places to try. Back to MK for a few hours and then back to the resort for the Tradgical Express ride back to the airport for our 8:30pm flight.

Since we have 3 more months to go before the trip, I am fairly certain some of this will change, but I am a planner! It is never too soon to have a preliminary plan in mind. 7 days!!! I really need to start packing at some point!

If mine ever gets Disney-ed out, I would be having a lot of trips with the kiddo or tagging along with all of you! I'll sleep on the floor, I'm not picky! laugh laugh laugh
