OKW vs BWV Studios

This last time we went... we didnt have a Savana view. We had a pool view (the other option is a parking lot view as well). While I was a bit sad and down we didnt have the view, we still felt good with what we had. I dont know if its pointless because of all of the look out points you have. Plus... I love the rooms there. JUST LOVE THEM. I dont know if that helped at all... but yeah... a Savana view would be awesome, but in the end... your still at AKL and there are plenty of opportunities to see the Wild Life.

I cant say enough about OKW. I absolutely LOVE it there. It's so laid back and relaxing just like the real Key West. We've never had trouble wth the buses there, but we've always requested to be close to the stops. It's quite a large resort and there's about 6 internal stops within it.
It's very lovely and it's always our first choice.

DH says he wants to save the money and go to AKl even if we don't get a savanah view and spend it on something nice. While I'm bummed, I think that's the route we'll go. You are right Mase, there are plenty of look out areas and it is AKL afterall, so why should I complain?

What is the point difference between AKL and the others? Honestly I'd probably pick Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I just love that place!

If choosing between the three I'd pick AKL hands down..choosing between OKW and BW it really depends on your preference. I am a HUGE fan of OKW. It's sooooo incredibly peaceful there. It has Disney magic but the rooms are separated and so spacious. They recently went through a refurb which they needed pretty badly...so they are all new and squeaky clean! Also, the size of OKW studios is much bigger than any other studio (I believe).

I agree AKL hands down with a savannah view but it's alot more points for the savannah vs the value view. Value AKL is less than OKW/BVW Standard, but Savannah is alot more than OKW/BVW Standard.

Assuming $13 pp rental 69 points with a random view would be $897, to gauruntee the savannah we are now looking at $1326. Staying at BWV or OKW we'd be paying $988.

So dh would rather do dessert reception for illuminations or something than spend money for the view. While I'd like Savannah I totally see his point since we've done it before. BWV and OKV view doesn't matter to me.

So...we are going to attempt to rent the value AKL, if not then it's the same BWV vs OKW arguements again.

There are Value Rooms with a Savana view. You can always request and if its open you'll be in luck.

Yeah, that's my point, the values aren't a promise, just a request at a savannah view, but i think that's what we are going to do.
