Awwwww such a fab report! So so awful the man died on the ship, his poor wife. Sad

I am with you totally re the beach, I hate beaches, sand, stick salty water etc. but that adults only beach. WOW. It's one of the reasons I have to go back on the ship.... (Next year for the WDWFGU meet Wink )

I finally got caught up on your TR! Wow! Sounds like a lot of fun! We have always wanted to go on a cruise. We may have to try that sometime soon.
Blondie is a cutie! Sorry she was sad but she had a wonderful time and has you to thank for those happy memories.

Thanks Boomer! She did have a wonderful time. Now that we are home she is ok and I am sad. I can't wait to go on another one! It probably sounds horrible but I wish I had a pic of her crying while I was holding her. It really was one of my favorite moments. It's like she is finally getting it and will miss it as much as I miss the World when we are not there.

You're definitely raising her right. Get 'em while they're young and they'll be with us forever.

Great trip report. I have been going back and forth about taking a Disney cruise and your report really helped. Great tips and tricks that you learned and I will store for later.

I had a feeling it would turn out all right! Glad you gave the Cruise Line a chance and enjoyed it. It's such a shame about the man who passed away. The stress was supposed to be over with before the arrival, not in the midst of the vacation! sad But as pointed out, sadly, things can happen for the worse. With a vacation, it's cliche but so much to do, so little time to use and that can lead to a ton of stress. If you tack on additional aspects to deal with like family members' wants and needs, unrealistic expectations not being met, work, lack of sleep, etc, it all adds up and reaches a boiling point and whatever happens after the boil isn't a good thing to witness or experience.

It really was wonderful. I can't believe I was so worried about it. I think for the next one (we are thinking summer 2016) I will be more excited leading up to it knowing what to expect!
