This was absolutely the shortest wait for the next Disney trip. I'm back on the ME and not going home till Sunday now. But it won't be the same without Robyn or hubby to hang out with me.

Yes, hubby sent photos. If the plane had made it I would've been staying at an airport hotel in Baltimore. No way I was driving through that stuff after dark.

Tomorrow I go back to DHS and make another attempt on the TSM kitty!

Awwwww why aren't I there with you?! But then I guess I would have to come home to snow... It's a mere 5 degrees above freezing here. Wonderful tail winds at one point the captain said we were doing over 700 miles per hour Shock left late and landed early. Sad to be home but so looking forward to seeing my hubs

My last day Sad I would say our last day but Jan has had her flight cancelled till Sunday so she gets to stay in disney for longer! We headed to Epcot to ride test track and sample a few food offerings from world showcase (winner was the spring rolls in China). Then we headed back to the hotel to shower and wait for the tragical express Sad boo. Checked in and then hit outback for some dinner. Flight home was super quick, we took off late and landed early due to tail winds of 700mph said the pilot!

I scored some cool cat pins this trip. Figaro and the car window cat (I have the sticker version on my car) came from CMs, and the other four came in trade with a collector stationed outside a pin stand at Epcot's Future World. I gave him a pin trading case in exchange.

Now I guess it's time for details.

But oops, we never got around to writing up trip notes! We were too busy having fun! We briefly discussed the dilemma and decided to do a mostly photographic trip report by subject matter, which I guess we could break down to food, shows, rides, hotel, merchandise, and whatever else.

Robyn? Any other categories?

Anybody else have category suggestions?

Haha - is that last cat pin in the last pic the same one as the one from TSM? That's hilarious and super cute.

It is! I traded for it last September when hubby and I visited Wilderness Lodge to see what it was like. Now I feel as if I deserve to wear that cat.

So, let's get started with FOOD!

The first photo is my room-service dinner at the Baltimore airport hotel Thursday, February 26, the night before I caught my predawn flight to WDW. It's a chicken club wrap (sans cheese) with onion rings. Very good but very huge, couldn't finish it all. The onion rings in particular were very tasty. And sorry I didn't think to get a photo of the wrap's filling. Looked like a club sandwich.

Next up, the chicken Caesar wrap I got at DHS's Studios Catering Co. for lunch Friday the 27th. In the background you can see Robyn's spicy chicken sandwich and her free cupcake. (She has better photos of her stuff.) My wrap was pretty darn good.

Robyn, I don't recall what we ate for dinner Friday, or even whether we ate dinner at all. Got any photos? Could that have been burgers at the food court night?

We had funnel cake I believe for dinner..... Healthy! Hehehe

Here was my buffalo chicken sandwich, it was really good! The cupcake... Hmm... Not so much. I know Jan was more of a fan but it was a bit sweet for me...

My first night at the food court was chicken breast nuggets and chips. Breakfast the next morning was freshly made french toast with bacon, it was really good and as I was jetlagged and up super early it was nice to be in the food court so empty.

It's also worth noting that I was able to use the tables in wonderland in the food court and I was actually given 20% off my resort mug. I don't think that should have happened so when I saw how little my bill was I asked if I had been given discount on it but the CM said no... But I checked the receipt and I had. Hey, I tried to tell him! So it was a very good deal... I also used it to buy Jan's mug the next day and same thing again.

Right! Funnel cake! And it was good, too!

I did like that cupcake more than Robyn did, but was glad I only ate half of it.

And I agree, the French toast was quite good. I had it during my snow days, but with sausage instead of bacon.

Apparently most of the food trays are brown, but a very few are different colors. At Studios Catering Co., if you happen to get a tray that isn't brown, the CMs launch into a little song (couldn't make out most of the words) and offer you a free cupcake, your choice of whatever flavors they have at the moment. Robyn lucked into a red tray, and we heard them sing the song once more before we were done eating.

We did also have to stop a different CM to find all that info out though, they sang a super quick song to me which I looked blankly at them and then they gave me a free dessert... Neither of us had any idea what they were going on about until we asked hehe

Right. The only words I could make out in the free cupcake song were "Five, Six, Seven, Eight." And then I was wondering what the heck was going on with this free cupcake.

Saturday's food!

We started out most of our mornings by hitting the food court for croissants and a cup refill (diet Coke for Robyn, cherry Coke for me). So that was Saturday's breakfast. No photos at all of the croissants, but I'm sure you all know what they look like.

Saturday's lunch was our ADR at Sanaa with Robyn's friends, Mark and Carrie. We started with the bread service, but forgot to take a photo until we'd made a mess of it all. Of course, it was as good as ever! Our wonderful waiter even provided a few tips as to which dips go well together. Of course I don't remember now! I particularly enjoyed the tamarind chutney mixed with...ummm...I think it might have been the coriander or cilantro chutney? We enjoyed it all so much we got a little extra bread.

For our main dishes I got the lamb kefta burger, Carrie got the tandoori chicken on naan (without the veggies that are supposed to come on the sandwich and with the sauce on the side), and both Robyn and Mark ordered the entree where you choose two different stewed dishes with one of two types of rice. Mark's is already spread out on his plate, while Robyn's is still in the little dishes it all comes in. I don't recall which meat dishes each of them got, but Robyn can fill in the details on hers, at least. After all that bread, I couldn't eat half of my burger, but I enjoyed it all the same.

Dinner Saturday evening...hmmm...we went to Downtown Disney but didn't eat there (weren't hungry after that huge lunch), but we did get something back at All-Star. Robyn, was THIS the night we got burgers? Whatever we did, I have no photos, but if Robyn does, I'm sure they'll appear soon.

While at Downtown Disney, Robyn and I visited the new food trucks. We didn't get anything, but we photographed the menu boards. I got photos of the trucks that feature food from Animal Kingdom and the various Disneylands/Magic Kingdom because each had food items I knew would make hubby drool! Robyn got photos of all four, I think, so she can add photos of the other two menu boards.

Yes that was the night we had burgers but forgot take pics... I was a bit surprised by the chicken burger being minced, I expected a chicken breast... But saying that I really enjoyed it. Sadly I didn't make the most of my lunch as I took ill right after the bread service Sad I had butter chicken and chicken vindaloo, Mark had the short ribs and butter chicken, he loved them both. I'm sad I didn't even get to try my vindaloo Sad I ate 2 mouthfuls of butter chicken. The meal I was most looking forward to as well!!
