Here we go...I've heard today ( Friday 17th ) that the free dining offer will be announced at the end of this month for 2016..This coming from a travel agent friend who has contacts with Disney travel agent.. 
...It will have to be booked before the end of this year..However,and this is where the so called rumours continue ..If the uptake of free dining doesn't meet Disney's speculation, then in January 2016, room discounts will be offered..Now by pure coincidence this is exactly what happened to us in 2013.. We decided to book a cheap package holiday to Spain in October of that year, and didn't take the free dining offer for 2014 as we didn't think we could afford it, then in January 2014, I received an E-Mail from Disney travel UK about resort discounts..Think it was 20% off certain mods, and a whopping 40% off AKL and WL...The rest is history..We booked WL for 12 nights in October ....Here's my question to all you knowledgeable people..If someone were to book ( via Disney ) a vacation at a moderate resort with free dining plan for next year, then in January Disney offer resort room discounts, would Disney allow you to upgrade from a moderate to deluxe for the room discount but still get the free DDP..( one CS and one TS ) Friends of ours have just recently upgraded from POFQ to WL and still have the free DDP ( moderate to deluxe ) But didn't have a room discount..Just wondering if this rumour comes true,what are the chances of getting these two offers..( I know, typical Scotsmen looking for a bargain )
