SeaWorld

My parents and I decided to buy APs for Seaworld and Aquatica since the down payment for all 3 aps were cheaper then a one day ticket for all 3 of us. We are very excited as we haven't been to Seaworld since the one in Ohio closed down. So for our first mothers day together in 7 years, we spent the day at Seaworld. It was a really nice change of pace. My dad and I walked onto all three coasters which I was surprised about. We did end up waiting 25-30 minutes for Journey to Atlantis and Empire of the Penguins. We did end up stuck on Empire of the Penguins which was fine because we missed the rain. We also choose a great day to go because Seaworld was offering inside looks around the park which was really awesome. We got to go backstage to Shamu stadium and backstage to see the penguins up close. We also saw the One Ocean show and Clyde & Seamore's Sea Lion High: The New class. The sea lion high show was great because Seamore just did his own thing a couple times, the one guy forgot to roll up his sleeve for a scene and a couple other things didn't go according to plan but it was a great show regardless. We also got refillable cups and a refillable popcorn bucket. The brisket combo we got at Voyagers was really good. It came with three meats, fries and a roll. We are excited for more adventures.

It's been about 5 or 6 years since we've been to SW, but we really enjoyed it. The Antarctic section is great, especially the penguins. It was a really nice change of pace from WDW not nearly as crowded. I hope we can go again when we go back to Orlando. I know it's a bit of blasphemy here, but we really enjoy US for the same reasons. SSSHHHH don't tell anyone I said so.

I haven't been to Sea World in ages. I've only been to Orlando once and that was in the mid 70s. I always went to the one in Ohio. One of these trips, I will take a day and go there.

I loved SeaWorld when I was a kid, but I haven't been for at least 20 years. Sounds like a lot of fun though!
