The Secret World of Arrietty Trailer

I only heard of this movie this week, and it's coming out in just a few days. It appears to be anime, but it's based upon Mary Norton's book The Borrowers, which I remember loving as a child.

Will you see this? Have you been interested in any of the other Disney forays (partnerships?) with makers of anime-style productions? I don't know a lot about the genre, so forgive me if I sound ignorant about it Smile

I'd watch it, was never really into Anime, but that looks pretty good, for a cartoon.

I plan on seeing that. I'll watch anything with Miyazaki's name on it though. He also directed Howl's Moving Castle and Ponyo if you saw either of those.

I saw it and really enjoyed it. I was surprised at how slow moving it was, I'm not sure my son would sit through it. Has anyone seen it yet?

Im waiting till DVD. I watch all of those Anime movies from Hayao Miyazaki. Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo, My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky.... all of those are great! And yeah.... he has some issues with pacing sometimes. So I believe that SWoA can get slow. But I am looking forward to it... but Ghost Rider was much higher on my must see list... lol

Actually mase didn't wait for DVD... We went and saw it a couple of weeks ago... Our daughter wanted to see it and it was her reward for giving up her binks... I remember reading the borrowers as a kid so I enjoyed it... It was slow moving but it was cute
