Ok so as you guys know we are going on our anniversary trip in a couple weeks. Right now we are staying at our home resort of animal kingdom lodge but are on a wait list for the boardwalk. Called today to see if the boardwalk had anything available for a split stay but they are completely booked up. So we got to thinking and decided to look into some of the other DVC resorts. Well we decided we would like to try out OKW and checked availability and the had three days available in the middle of the week and it would only cost us 10 points a night. Called back to try to switch it to a split stay with that and the lady said she could do it but she would have to cancel out our original reservation and rebook everything and that then if there is someone on a waiting list that they would get our rooms. So I couldn't take the risk of losing those rooms. So now we are on a wait list for both boardwalk and OKW. So still bummed and then I got to thinking I probably shouldn't bummed about staying at AKL cause there are tons of people who may never get the chance to stay there so I shouldn't really complain. Still though I'm just getting bored with it because we stay there every year and really hoping that one of these wait lists comes through. The one thing I don't like about the wait list is they take you off of it a week before your trip... What is one comes available in that week inbetween when they take you off and your trip starts. Ok I'm done whining for now... Thanks to anyone who listened... Lol
